I was talking to someone at work about the importance of a good night’s sleep. We concurred that our daily lives are greatly affected by the quality of our sleep. Then she proceeded to tell me that on a good night, she might sleep for a total of 5 hours, from 10 pm to 3 am. That’s when I asked her if she came from a different planet. I forgot to tell you the highlight of my summer this year, which was when I got 10 pounds of freshly picked blueberries. For free! This is how it came to be - my daughter has a friend whose mom is a friend of a certain nice lady who lives next to a blueberry farm that happened to be undergoing a bank foreclosure. Tons of blueberries were there, unpicked and unappreciated, basically just wasting away. Hiya, fiesta-ing friends! I’ve been so busy this week, with life in general, that I haven’t had time to sit and think. Seriously! First my daughter was sick. Then my husband sprained his fingers.
