Friday makes me want to burst into song.
I was trying to force the husband to play hooky with me, but he said he had to give a presentation at work. What do those engineers do all day, anyway? Every time I call him, he’s always in a meeting. Is there any work actually being done?
Don’t mind me, I’m just ranting because I didn’t get what I wanted. Ideally, I wanted to have a 3-day weekend somewhere sunny and beachy, then go to dinner at Zahav to end the weekend on a high note. Neither is happening! Zahav takes reservation at least 60 days in advance, good grief!
Anyway, I’m still happy, regardless. I’m not going to let a little inconvenience called work ruin my Friday. Besides, we’re having a fiesta right now. And I’m even going to participate this time.
