Have you seen this plant? Photo courtesy of @hiyakerrii Isn't it amazing? It's Hoya Kerrii aka Sweetheart Plant. How Mother Nature can create a plant with perfect heart-shaped leaves is just simply ah-mazing!! I want that plant! I saw single leaves of it being sold at a store recently for $7 each. But I don't want single leaves. I want the whole plant, preferably with vines and lots of leaves, like the one pictured above. It will be a Valentine's Day gift for me, from me, hehe... White strawberries... What do you think? They look wrong, right? For years I've resisted buying these strawberries, because who would want to eat white strawberries... They look downright wrong to me... Like they're unripe... Most likely sour... So I thought. Until I bit into one. Guess what?! They're actually sweeter than their luscious-looking red counterparts. I didn’t make any. I didn't buy any. But I didn't want to tempt fate, either. So I offered my family the next best thing. Bagels. I always have bagels in the house. Bagels are circular in shape, just like donuts, so I figured they'd make a great substitute. I served them traditionally, with schmear and lox, and ... continue reading...
