Real-life drama! Though it’s heartbreaking what’s happening with Simone Biles. She still is, and always will be the GOAT. She’s an upcoming superstar, to ... continue reading...

So, it’s pronounced "skown" (rhymes with bone) rather than "skon" (rhymes with gone). It was a superbly simple and satisfying meal. Nomnom... What are YOU having for lunch? Or dinner? Or breakfast? Or midnight snack? These ... continue reading...

I'll try my very best to do better, promise. The truth is I've been busy with the garden. Inspired by Gardener's World, I've been giving the garden a hard look, trying to figure out ways to improve it. It's looking a bit jungly at the moment. I kinda want a more wild flower-ey, meadow-ey look. My daughter teases me for having ... continue reading...

Crepes or pancakes? Pancakes or crepes? I couldn’t decide so I made both. Luckily, I only needed to make one kind of topping. Both crepes and pancakes are superb with strawberry sauce. Come Sunday, though, I may have to add blueberry sauce to the mix so we can have a proper red, white, and blue day. And I may need to up the crepes, as well, so I can make something like this. 4th of July Crepe Cake I should start a new tradition. Crepe Cake for the 4th of July! It's easy to do, and yet ... continue reading...
