Fiesta Friday #334

Hi, peeps! I’m so happy to be able to tell you that my arm feels so much better. Hurray!

And because I’m feeling happy, and relieved, and pretty much worry-free, I’m eating carbs aka bread. Lots and lots of it. Wait a minute, shouldn’t it be the other way around? Shouldn’t I be loading on carbs when I’m depressed? Apparently I don’t know when I’m supposed to carb or not to carb.

Anyway, does it even matter anymore? I should be able to eat what I want to eat when I want to eat it, right?!

Which brings me to this focaccia bread.

Focaccia | FiestaFriday.net

It’s the first thing I made as soon as my arm allowed me to work in the kitchen. I’ve had really good bread before, but this one may be THE BEST! As always, I was just winging it instead of following a recipe exactly. I’ll see if I can recreate what I did so I can share the recipe with you.

Now, Take a Look At These:

Coconut Cream Yum Yum

Elderflower Vinegar

Cajun Lime Corn Chowder with Crab

DIY Scarf Face Mask

Now, let’s party! Join Fiesta Friday #334 by adding your link(s). Don’t forget to link your post to FiestaFriday.net and the cohost(s), so you can be featured. Your cohost this week is Mollie @ Frugal Hausfrau

Well this has been the first linky I’ve joined for 6mths, its been a difficult time but my goodness what a perfect linky to visit, everything you’ve recommended in the post is just perfect, the scarf tutorial is just what my daughter has been looking for, the elderflower cordial, just what I’ve been looking for and the focaccia is amazing. Sorry to hear you’ve been struggling too with health and glad to hear you’re on the mend/ xx

Thanks, Joanna! I planted elderflowers last fall and they’re already flowering now. Not a whole lot of flowers but maybe enough for elderflower vinegar. It’s a great idea!

Yay! Glad to hear your arm is on the mend and you can get back to bread! 😛 Lol! The foccacia looks delicious (as always) and I could just eat that featured coconut cream yum yum! It’s very sunny here (for once) so I’m off to laze in the pool with an iced Irish Cream coffee! 😛 Have a fabulous Fiesta and a great weekend. x

Thanks! Lazing in the pool sounds like the best idea ever, for a day like today. Wish I had a pool. We thought about putting in one when the kids were younger but people kept advising us against it, go figure. Anyway, enjoy yourself! And the iced coffee sounds perfect, too.

If you think that looks amazing, wait til I share my next loaf. How’s that for a little tease, huh ?I think I may have perfected it finally. I’m going to repeat (or in this case, three-peat) so I can actually weigh the ingredients to be more precise. And then I will finally share. So much work goes into one little recipe!
