Fiesta Friday #184

Hey, guys! Looks like the fiesta is still alive and kicking even when I’m not around, thanks to our amazing cohosts. And to you, of course, our participants.

There’s definitely a lot of conversation going on, which I love to see and hear.

This fiesta does NOT need me at all to keep running! Which is so nice to know. Especially right now. I am very busy.

I have an important job to finish. I still have a few more days of something called vacation. Have you heard of it? You know, lazing around all day.

Anyway, on rare occasions when I find myself taking a break from this so-called vacation, I try to do something fun with my bestie Skye.

She is the prettiest girl in the world!

And now, features!

img_1332

Strawberry Peach Layered Chia Pudding from Andrea @ Cooking with a Wallflower

“How pretty is this?! And sooo…healthy! I’ll be needing this when I get home. I’ve been eating not-so-healthy food and too much of it, but that’s inevitable when you’re traveling, isn’t it?” — Angie

Persian Raspberry Mini Trifles from Nimmi @ Adorable Life

“Nimmi has made a dessert with flavors that sound right out of a Persian fairy tale! I like her detailed step-by-step instructions too. This is definitely one dessert that I will be making soon

.” — Shinta

Watermelon Lemonade Cooler from Kit @ The Kittchen

“It just sounds like the perfect Summer cocktail to me.” — Sarah

Cheesy Garlic Pull-Apart Bread from CH @ Cooking From My Heart

“I’ve been meaning to make a pull-apart bread – it’s so much fun to eat! I actually did make one 3 years ago, but that’s like you’ve never made it at all. That’s beyond the expiration date!” — Angie

Now, let’s party! Join Fiesta Friday #184 by adding your link. Don’t forget to link your post to FiestaFriday.net and the co-hosts’ blogs, so we can feature you. Your cohosts this week are Petra @ Food Eat Love and Jhuls @ The Not So Creative Cook

If you’re new to Fiesta Friday, please read the guidelines.

Didn’t you just take a vacation? It seems every time I talk to you, you’re on vacation ? Just kidding, Jhuls! You work too hard, you definitely deserve a long vacation! What’s the boss’s number? I need to tell him/her ?

Oh, I hope that’s true, Angie! But I am really planning to take a vacation, so be ready coz I think I might volunteer co-hosting again last week of Sept and first two weeks of October… well, that is if there is a space for me?

Skye is so very cute indeed! My holiday is completely finished and I have to say I am relieved to be eating normal food again, like you I haven’t been eating good stuff while away from my kitchen. It probably is inevitable. Have a good weekend:)

I didn’t exactly document what I ate (all the bad things were in the hotel restaurant) but I also ate some great stuff outside the hotel (I was in Greece after all!), which inspired me to create some recipes soon to make their way to the blog:)

Am so happy to co host, thank you for asking me again. The features from last week are so gorgeous, it makes me hungry, especially the pull apart garlic bread! I really must get baking! I had a cake in mind for a few weeks now, I feel it might be time to make it soon 🙂

Actually she doesn’t like being away from home, poor thing. She loves getting all the attention though. We’re staying in a pet friendly hotel but I think she’s the only one, so she gets all the love.
So glad you’re having fun at the fiesta, Petra! Thanks for cohosting! ??

Cute! Cute! Cute! I have a friend who dresses up her poodle; matching collar, leash and bows in her hair. I like the fresh/dried flowers look 🙂 Did you decide which weekend you wanted me to cohost – Sept. 1st or Sept. 8th?

If only Skye were more cooperative, I would dress her up too. She has a winter sweater but every time we put it on, she always tries to shake it off ?? Oh and I need you Sept 1 FF187. Your partner is Sadhna @ Herbs Spices & Traditions. Is that good?
