Fiesta Friday #111

So, are you impressed now?

I actually posted two St. Patrick’s Day recipes before it was too late to celebrate the day! The Colcannon and the Guinness Pork. Three if you count the Roasted Potatoes.

(Do you see my posts on your WordPress Reader, by the way? For some reason, my last post didn’t show up. Go figure.)

I’m finally ahead of the game!

At this rate, I might even post four Easter recipes next week! Since it’ll be Spring Break and I won’t have to go to work. I can just stay home and cook and blog.

If I have my way, that is. But let’s not get carried away just yet.

The husband is threatening to take us on a vacation. And one of my girlfriends is planning a get-together. So, most likely, my blogging plans will be derailed again.

Such is the story of my life…

But, but… you know, I love my husband and my girlfriends for everything they do to make my life fun and happy. < — Written just in case they happen to read this, which they won’t, but just in case. Stranger things have happened.

So, I hope everyone had a great St. Patrick’s Day yesterday. Hopefully you didn’t indulge too much. ‘Coz the real party is right now! Right here! At Fiesta Friday!

Time for Features!

Easter Coconut Macaroons from Lily @ Little Sweet Baker

“This is such a cute way to celebrate Easter! The nest shaped macaroons with the candy eggs is bound to make any kid jumping for joy.” — Apsara

Rogan Josh Kashmir from Linda @ La Petite Paniere

“Linda’s Rogan Josh is just over the top delicious! I am always amazed by her passion and her mouth-watering recipes. I am not a huge fan of lamb meat, but I think she might convert me soon. 😀

Falafel Crunch Crusted Sweet Potato Wedges from Elaine @ foodbod

“You can trust Elaine to come up with such original recipes. The very idea of pairing flavors from a falafel mix and humus with sweet potato sounds incredibly fantastic.” — Apsara

Bizcocho de Caramelo from Linda @ Fabulous Fare Sisters

“It is not just the decadent cake that caught my eye, but the story behind it is so funny, too. The cake just oozes with caramel and the cream on top looks fabulous.” — Apsara

Now, let’s party! Join Fiesta Friday #111 by adding your link. Don’t forget to link your post to FiestaFriday.net and the co-hosts’ blogs. Your co-hosts this week are Naina @ Spice in the City and Julianna @ Foodie On Board.

I saw the recipes – good for you managing to post in time! You’re also early in posting today too, I think, which is great for me as I can get in early 🙂 Great features as always, looking forward to seeing what everyone else brings today. And I’m not home alone with the kids this week now finally. Woohoo!

I posted early today to see if it’ll get on the WP Reader, but no! The only thing different I did recently was to install Collective Bias Analytics plugin since I recently joined. But who knows! Yay to finally having the husband back home!! XOXO

Yes, I think you’re right. I so deserve a vacation and girlfriends day. The blog can take care of itself, haha… I do have a couple of recipes to try out. Easy ones. That’s the key! 🙂 I hope your wish will come true, about eating lots of chocolate 😀

I’m there now. But I feel like going home ? Although it’s nice to be with the kids all the time. When we’re home, we all occupy our own space and tend to do our own thing.

I was very impressed with your two posts, Angie. And I think it’s a good thing when life gets in the way of blogging, as opposed to the other way around. Enjoy your week off! I will have all four of my kids home next week, so it won’t exactly be a break, just a change of pace (and maybe a change of scenery if we do a couple of outings.)

I think the same way about blogging. It should add to your quality of life, and not lessen it. I learn to not stress too much about it. Enjoy the kids! Must be fun to have them all at home! XOXO

The sooner the better. That’s my advice. The more posts you have on WP.com, the harder to move. That’s my experience and how I feel. Personally, I wish I had done it sooner.

              March 19, 2016 at 12:23 pm

I see that, but I just don’t know if I need to do it?! I have no issues with my blog as it is, so what difference would it really make?

            • Angie says

              March 19, 2016 at 12:29 pm

You wouldn’t know it until you do it 🙂 I can’t explain it but there are many articles out there elaborating the pros and cons. I like it that I own my blog and can do whatever I want with it. It all depends on what you want to do with your blog.
