Oh, those cakes make my mouth water. πŸ˜€ Happy FF, Angie. Thanks for hosting and I am enjoying the party. I am waiting for the others to come in… I need more sugar! Haha!

    • Angie says:

Hi Jhuls! I’m so glad to see your comment here! Were you having trouble at all leaving the comment? A few people complained about it, but it’s not like I know how to solve it!

      • Jhuls says:

I tried checking my comment after it’s published, but I didn’t see anything. I thought it’s waiting for approval?

        • Angie says:

Yes, it was, but it shouldn’t have been. You’ve commented before, so it should show up immediately. They’ve been going to my spam folder and I noticed that after a comment was posted, it didn’t give the commenter the option to follow the blog. Oh well, I guess I know what I’ll be doing this weekend. Fixing things! πŸ™‚

        • Jhuls says:

Oh, weekend and fixing things don’t sound fun. 😐

        • Angie says:

It’s part and parcel of having a self-hosted site πŸ™

Hey Ang!!! WAHOO! Thank you so much for featuring my Maple Waffle Chicken Nuggets.. those things are a dream. I want to swim in the sauce too! You’re the best, Happy Friday! πŸ™‚

    • Angie says:

They will be tried and I already know will be LOVED by everyone in my house!! As soon as I actually have time to cook! Is there ever a time when you don’t have to fix anything on your self-hosted blog? I have comment problem over here. Glad to see you made it through!!! Happy FF!!

      • Stephanie @ The Cozy Cook says:

Hey Ang!!! You just made a really good point- that FOOD bloggers barely have time to COOK because they’re so busy doing everything else blog-related! Like bug fixes and whatnot! You have a comment problem?! What the…! Feel free to share and I’ll see if I can help. What a pain right?!

I like the stewed beef. Looks really good. The chipotle goes along with my contribution today.

  4. Wow! The features this week are once again amazing! This week’s Fiesta Friday looks mighty good too! We’re on spring break this week. Well, my kids are, which means more craziness for me. I’m looking forward to quieter days ahead. Have a lovely weekend! -Julia

    • Angie says:

I know what you mean. Spring break for the kids means more work for moms πŸ™‚ but it gets better as they get older. I have a teenager and an almost-teenager who acts older than the teenager! I love spending time with them, especially at home. My favorite day is when we don’t have to go anywhere or do anything and just hang out. πŸ˜€

  5. More weekly amazingness coming up!!! Happy Fiesta Friday xx

  6. Loved the features this week!! πŸ˜€ Can’t wait to see all the yumminess this week!

  7. Ginger says:

What an amazing woman you are, Angie! Work, play, and play again… I am really looking forward to your new adventures over at the Dinner Party Collective! But now, first things first, I’d better have a look around this party πŸ™‚
P.s. not sure if you got my email – I received yours but couldn’t reply!

  8. what an amazing array of food to make my mouth water. The casserole at the top had me hooked, being a meaty girl hehe. I see changes on your blog Angie, well done πŸ™‚ slowly but surely is the best way x

  9. I’m all about working smarter not harder! πŸ™‚ Happy Fiesta Friday!!!

  10. Wow! Thank you so much for featuring my Beef Stew!!! It was really good

  11. Aww thank you for the feature! Happy FF all, I’m afraid I can’t attend this week but hopefully I can pop my head in a bit later to take a nosey at what everyone brought!

  12. Thanks for the party again.

  13. Vasun says:

Hi all! This my first contribution to your ‘potluck’ fiesta friday party. Thought I’ll say ‘Hello!”. I’d decided to join as I was blown away by the amazing talent at this party. Very inspiring ! Thank you for welcoming me onboard πŸ™‚ and thank you to Angie and all the organizers.

    • Angie says:

Welcome to Fiesta Friday, Vasun! I hope you’re enjoying the party and getting to know the other participants. They’re all amazingly talented, but they’re all super friendly and I’m sure would love to get to know you as much as I do. πŸ™‚

Angie, I can completely understand your problems in a self-hosted site. I had similar frustrations and still do, wondering why some followers don’t seem to get my posts, etc….Hang in there! There is no hurry to fix things. Maybe tomorrow, things will be better! You’re right, FF does makes it all worthwhile.

    • Angie says:

Thanks for your words of encouragement, Apsara. And you’re right, there’s no hurry. We’re not in a race, except maybe with ourselves. I guess I’m just impatient for things to just happen. Though I’m not sure what “things” I expect to happen πŸ˜€
