I just realized as I was typing this that it's almost the end of February! When did that happen?! Everybody knows when March rolls around, spring will arrive shortly after. And that's when I'm the busiest because then I'll have the outdoors as well as the indoors to contend with. I'd like to get an early start if I can, so spring cleaning is about to begin around here… starting with the blog! I haven't paid too much attention to this space! Just like your home, your blog also needs sprucing ... continue reading...

Fiesta Friday #524
A lot of feasting is happening this week! February has all the holidays, it seems, squeezed into one week. It started with the Lunar New Year last Saturday, followed by the Super Bowl (which should be a national holiday, shouldn't it? Or at least the day after it), then Fat Tuesday, Valentine's Day, and… the day after Valentine's Day 😂 There's always an excuse to overindulge! I’m definitely blaming the husband for this. We’ve had school closings aka snow days, as well as delayed openings, and even on days when it's safe to go to school, we've had to have indoor recess, which is not ideal when there are 20 kids in a small classroom. To make things worse, for me and my family, there was also a lengthy power outage, and some of our backyard stuff got blown away. So, it's safe to ... continue reading...
