Did everybody eat their fill of corned beef and cabbage?
I think I did. Of course, I could’ve had more. It was enough, but there wasn’t much leftover to make the Reuben or to fill a sourdough bun, etc.
So I may get another piece. Corned beef, around this time, is offered at such a ridiculously low price ($1.99/lb in my store) that it doesn’t make sense to not get at least 2 pieces.
Though if I had to make a choice, I would pick pastrami over corned beef. But as always, pastrami usually costs 4 times more. Why is that?!
Oh well… I’m sure nobody would object to another meal of corned beef post-St. Patrick’s Day. If they do, I’ll just revamp it and turn it into something else.
