Honestly, who can resist a good grilled cheese and tomato soup? Even the most basic grilled cheeses will find a taker or two. But these ones here have provolone and turkey and are spiked with homemade pesto made with freshly harvested homegrown basil.

LOVE a good grilled cheese. It wasn’t until a few years back that I learned that many people pair it with one of my least-favorite soups. (Okay, I love a good chunky chilled gazpacho, but that stands on its own.)

Oh, you don’t like tomato soup? It’s not the most exciting soup, that’s for sure, but great for dipping in bites of grilled cheese. Stir a dollop of pesto in it and you might find the flavor greatly improved.
