Happy New Year, guys!
Don’t forget to eat your donuts. For good luck!
Or black-eyed peas. Or collard greens. Or pomegranate. Or pork. Or whatever your family tradition is. It’s all cool.
Over the years, my family has adopted several of these fun traditions, so I figure we’ll do …uh… everything! We’ll eat a little bit of this and that.
Or… I wouldn’t mind being served any of these below. Wouldn’t mind at all.

Happy New Year’s!!! I’ll be back later with my New Year’s good luck brunch recipe if I end up liking it… (Which I should.) Won’t be doing donuts but your other suggestions are great! BTW, willing to host on the 22nd of January. The alternate could be the 15th.
Happy New Year, Diann! Can’t wait to see your brunch recipe! I’ll probably make some kind of stew with pork and black-eyed peas and greens. And then hope that my family will eat it ? I’m putting you down to cohost on the 22nd. If you need to switch to the 15th, let me know. THANKS so much!!

Wishing everyone a healthy and delicious 2021. My goal is to minimize waste as I cook and I do think that is an achievable resolution:) look forward to the inspiration from the community ❤️
Thanks and same to you, Zeba! Minimizing waste is such a great resolution to have for the new year. I’m also trying to eat healthier this year, with more fish and veggies, whole grain etc. We shall see how long we can keep it up ?
