Happy (early) Mother’s Day to all of you moms out there (that includes me)! I hope your family will treat you like a queen and spoil you rotten this weekend.
In my case, I can expect a gift of another pair of pink fuzzy slippers, a pot of blooming flowers and a box of chocolate. My kids are as predictable as their dad when it comes to gift-giving.
Then, of course, there’ll be brunch. And I may even get a neck massage. All are lovely, and I appreciate them. But what I look forward to the most is the picnic on the beach. The last few years it’s become sort of tradition.
Let’s just hope the weather cooperates. It’s been kind of cold and dreary lately and now they’re saying it’ll rain on Mother’s Day. Oh, well… maybe an indoor picnic?

Ooo, do you think I can have a second Mothers Day! 😛 A picnic on the beach sounds lovely – but we’ve just had a major ten minute hailstorm so the beach doesn’t look likely anytime soon! I hope you have a wonderful weekend and get totally spoilt – pink fuzzy slippers and all! 😀 xxx
Of course! You have every right to a second or even third, you have my permission, hehe… The beach is not looking promising here either… sad… I’m so bummed, but maybe my family will think of something fun to do. I can only hope ? Thanks for cohosting! ??
Can I spend Mother’s Day at your place, Angie? I think it will be fun!? Anywaaay, it’s time to party. Laurena and I are so excited to co-host.??? Happy Fiesta Friday and advance Happy Mother’s Day!?

Hope you have a great Mother’s Day on Sunday, is it on Sunday? I suggested to my family celebrating Mother’s Day again but no one was keen:(
Lol, that’s funny. Yes, it’s always the second Sunday of May. Even though you’ve celebrated it earlier this year, I think I can still wish you a Happy Mother’s Day! ?
Angie, thank you so much for featuring my post. I am honored and hope you enjoyed it. Happy Friday.
Love the salad, Liz! I’ll try to post a picture one of these days.

Hi guys! Thanks so much for featuring the sheet pan crepes!! Hope everyone had a happy mother’s day!
Mollie
You’re welcome! It’s a great idea, the sheet pan crepes. I’ve made sheet pan pancakes, but not crepes. Will try next!
Wonderful round up as usual. I adore Kat’s oreo pots, being a huge fan of the biscuits and I love using them for cheesecake bases. Thank you for hosting x
Same here re: the Oreo Pots. I will have to make them ASAP. I have a feeling my family will thank me when I do ? Thanks for stopping by, Jenny!
Hi Angie,
Hope you got your picnic on the beach! It poured here all day long on Mother’s Day but we still went to the coastal seafood place I love and waited outside for an hour as they don’t take reservations 🙂
We certainly need another Mother’s Day with sunshine 🙂
As a matter of fact, I didn’t get the picnic. I took a rain check instead ? We had a pancake party, with me mostly cooking the pancakes, but the kids did help clean up and prepare toppings etc. Still, it was nice being together. We need to have a redo, definitely ?
