Fiesta Friday #196

Thank goodness Halloween is over!

Now I can finally move on to Thanksgiving and Christmas.

Maybe I’m jumping the gun a little with Christmas. But I can’t help it. Or rather, the stores won’t let me help it.

I was in a craft store last week looking for some last-minute accessories to add to my daughter’s costume, and I came across these Christmas treat boxes. On sale for 60% off. Gotta get ’em!

christmas-treat-bags

Aren’t they pretty?

Then my nose found the cinnamon pine cones. Can anyone resist them, seriously? Gotta get ’em!

Gotta get ’em all! You know, like Pokémon. Gotta catch ’em all! Thank goodness I’m off Pokémon GO. I admit for a while I was a little obsessed.

But I think it’s okay to be obsessed with Christmas. Right?! It’s the most wonderful time of the year…? ? ?

Okay, okay, slow down…there’s still Thanksgiving to go through.

Now, Features!

Pumpkin Buns & Shiitake BLT from Ai Made It

“These pumpkin buns will make their appearance yearly on my Thanksgiving table, I promise you that! They’re the cutest buns I’ve ever seen in my life!” — Angie

Carrot Cake Baked Donuts (Vegan) from The Baking Explorer

“How I wish I could pick up one of Kat’s Carrot Cake Baked Donuts! The vegan donuts with all the flavors of carrot cake, plus the almond milk in the batter and the glaze screams extra yummy to me!” — Sandhya

Pumpkin Maple Cassava Cake from Cooking with a Wallflower

“The combination of pumpkin and maple syrup sounds super delicious in this custard like seasonal cake.” — Monika

Veggie Loaded Beef Stew from TurksWhoEat

“This hearty soup could be enjoyed as a main dish – it’s satisfying, full of goodness and flavour, and simply perfect on a chilly night.” — Monika

Apparently I had the same idea with the pumpkin rolls, oh well.

Angie, I don’t think thinking about Christmas already is bad. I have been patiently waiting as this is my favorite time of the year!

Oh I didn’t see your pumpkin rolls. I’m sure they’re every bit as adorable. Same here with Christmas. I think it should be celebrated for the entire month of December! ?

Happy Fiesta Friday! Thank you so much for featuring my pumpkin buns!? And I’m right with you about Christmas. I can’t help it! I usually start thinking about Christmas in October…? I’ve already bought three Christmas decor items, and I often find myself humming Christmas songs?

Angie, I’ve been out earlier and I started seeing Christmas stuffs as well. People must be so excited and maybe forgetting about Thanksgiving. Hmm, I don’t think so since Thanksgiving involves food, too.? Thanks for Fiesta Friday, Angie. Enjoy your weekend!?

I don’t think they’re forgetting Thanksgiving (like you said, food involved, lol), but they’re overly excited about Christmas. I don’t blame them. That’s the one holiday you get presents for not doing anything. Well, you have to be good, so you won’t land on the naughty list ?? Thanks for cohosting! ??

Well, it seems the whole Christmas thing is picking up speed. It doesn’t help that all our birthdays are within 3 weeks around it though, which means I have to get going well before I am really ready for it.
Lovely features last week, those bund are just too cute!
    Have a lovely weekend!
