I am so busy I can cry.
I am not joking.
I just have way too many things to do. So many I don’t even have time to sit and make a list of them. And you know that’s no good. Lists are everything. If you don’t have lists, you’re headed for disasters.
I am not joking.
Anyway, if I can survive today, I can have my R&R tomorrow. We’ll be spending the weekend away at a B&B. Close to the son’s school. Why? Because…
And you may get your reward, too. For being you. I’m baking hot cross buns as we speak. Updated version! Very good! Something you may want to make for your Easter brunch.
If everything goes well, recipe will be ready for me to bring to the Fiesta.
Oh, btw, no cohosts this week. Just please be nice and view other links. We will be voting for favorites on Tuesday. And who wants to cohost next week and beyond? Please raise your hand!
Two Kinds and Three Shapes of Ravioli from Petra @ Food Eat Love
“I am a sucker for ravioli, and Petra made 2 pastas and 2 fillings! Celeriac and Pink Peppercorn? Ah, yes please! It’s enough to make me run to the garage and find my pasta press!” — Mollie
“Petra’s imaginative approach to all things food never fails to impress: I can smell and taste the individual ingredients and the mind boggles at the combined flavours of these ravioli recipes!” — Ginger
Lavender Cake from Tânia @ Iwanttobeacook
“Guess what?! I just planted two more lavender bushes, even though I already had five. Can’t you tell I love lavender? But somehow I haven’t tried using it in cooking. That’s about to change. Starting with this cake! How pretty is this?!” — Angie
Ricotta Lemon Cake from Anjana @ Happy & Harried
“Anjana’s Lemon Ricotta Cake: such a simple recipe, yet so beautifully executed. It’s a cake that has sunshine written all over it!” — Ginger
Latin Roast Chicken from Linda @ Fabulous Fare Sisters
“It just breaks my heart that I can’t have some of that Latin Roast Chicken right now, this very instant! Can you imagine what a hero you’d look like bringing that to the table for friends and family?!” — Mollie
Now, let’s party! Join Fiesta Friday #167 by adding your link. Don’t forget to link your post to FiestaFriday.net, so we can feature you. We’ll vote for features this week. So come back Tuesday afternoon to cast your vote! You may vote for up to 5 links. Who wants to cohost next week and beyond?

I hope you got everything finished, packed and that you’re already R&Ring as we speak! Have a wonderful Easter weekend, Angie – it was great co-hosting and I am still sore from all the pinning and bookmarking 🙂
Lol!! I hear you abt pinning and bookmarking. Everything was finished just in time, phew. Now I’ll just have to give Skye a bath, then we’ll be on our way. Then I’ll have all the time in the world to blog, since I don’t have to drive, hehe…
How come I keep getting dropped as follower to your blog?
I’ll have to check that – you’re not the only one! I’m not very good at maintaining friendships, it seems …
Haha… Do you use Jetpack? I was having issues, but now seems ok coz I bombarded them with emails.
That’s what I will need to do! Once I’ve eaten all my Easter eggs, that is …
Thats THE plan!
Yes, I keep getting dropped, too! Well, at least I’m too happy go lucky to have taken it personally, lol!
It was fun co-hosting but I didn’t get a sneak peek, lol!! Next time?!

Hi Angie! Don’t get too stressed out or you might not enjoy your weekend properly:) I am sure the hot cross buns will be great and you’ll finish everything on time. I can co-host early May if that suits you. Let me know when.
Thanks, Monika, will keep that in mind. How about May 5th, FF170? It’s a Cinco de Mayo Fiesta!
May 5th is fine. Marking it in my diary now:)
May 5th is fine, marking it in my diary now:)
Great! I’m doing the same.
Hope everything goes well! Do take some rest though! I have never co-hosted a Fiesta Friday..I would be really glad to help out next week or so. It would be fun going through all the lovely posts
Will do, Lina!
That’s great! Next week, FF168 is yours!
Awesome! I am so excited ?..
I laughed at ” I don’t even have time to sit and make a list of them” as I can so relate! I really needed that laugh.I invited guests this evening too ….in addition to a packed weekend….what was I thinking? And now have this nasty head cold which makes me feel like I am walking around with a head that weighs a ton 🙂
Wishing you a relaxing weekend. Enjoy the holidays with your son.
I’m big on to do lists, usually, but this time I didn’t even have the chance to make one. All in my head! Prob forgetting a few things and not realizing it, but too late…we’re off. Sorry to hear abt the head cold. That’s the worst! My sympathy for you, girlfriend. Listen, try to take it easy. So what if things aren’t perfect. I’m trying to follow my own advice, too ?
You said it, Angie! My home wasn’t perfect and some of the meal was not home made when the guests arrived yesterday but so be it 🙂 We all had fun chatting and catching up.
I am big on lists too, so I can relate. I am learning to let go too and focus on what is most important.
Have fun! Have a great holiday!
Glad to hear it went well ?
I hope you are on your way to a very chilled out weekend! Thank you so much for the feature and sorry again I responded so late! Need a co host next week? Happy Easter! xx
My pleasure, Petra. It was a favorite of all cohosts! And yes, please, next week is perfect. You’ll be cohosting with Lina@Lin’s Recipes. Thanks!!

Angie – I hear you!!! I am drowning in deadlines. I never get to my blog anymore. I hope you get through all your work. I will co-host happily after mid-May. Happy Easter to you and your family.
I think blogging is really a full time job in itself! We should give ourselves a pat on the back for keeping with it this long. How about May 19?
I am jealous, I want to be busy. My weeks kinda boring boring most especially at work. But whe I get super busy, I complain. I can’t understand ME. Anyway, as Elaine is always telling me ‘Look after yourself’ so I am telling you the same thing. And for the co-host… I am in ??
Have a wonderful weekend, Angie & thanks for keeping this up!?
It’s ok, WE understand you! Do you want to take April 28? Maybe we’ll get Elaine to cohost with you. Let’s twist her arm! ?
April 28 is fine, Angie! And I’d love Elaine to be my partner. ?
Great! I’ll ask Elaine and will let you know.
She’ll do it, yay! ??
Good for you making hot cross buns! I failed on that one this year, but did make some chocolate lollipops which I’ve brought along to the fiesta (late, I know, but made it!). Happy Easter to you all!
The buns turned out so well! I’ve been trying to write the recipe so I can share in time for Easter but this place makes me so sleepy ? Oh well, a good recipe is good for any day, right? Chocolate lollipops sound incredible. I’d like to have some right now to keep me awake!
Ai @Ai made it for you says
Sorry you’re so busy… I feel you though. I’ve been so busy with work and non-work related shtuff that I haven’t even posted on my blog about getting married! I somehow managed to post a carrot cupcake recipe… but not as early as I had hoped. Hope you’re having a restful Easter weekend! Can’t wait to try your hot cross buns recipe! I’ve never had a hot cross bun but everyone who’s had it seems to love it, so can’t wait to try!!
A wedding!! On Fiesta Friday!! Lol, I just get so excited when it comes to weddings ?? Congratulations!! So happy and excited for you and Tristan. I’m surprised you still have time to post a cupcake recipe. That shows how awesome you are! Hopefully I can put together the hot cross buns recipe soon. It’s too late for Easter but hey, it’s a good recipe for any day, really. A wedding, omg!!!
