Fiesta Friday #104

I’m still getting a steady trickle of followers on the other blog TheNoviceGardener. What gives?! I hope they know it’s being abandoned.

I guess it’s partly my fault for not marking it private. I guess I will need to eventually do that once I completely transfer all food-related posts to this happy, happening, hang out party hall.

And I guess I’ll need to erase any mention of TheNoviceGardener everywhere. So there won’t be any more accidental followers.

I’ll do my part, and you’ll do yours, deal?

If you have been calling me TheNoviceGardener or linking to TheNoviceGardener in your FiestaFriday posts, please start mentioning and linking to FiestaFriday instead.

That way there’s no more confusion where the happy, happening, hang-out party hall is. We all know it’s FiestaFriday, right?!

Features Time

So many great recipes to select from last week’s fiesta! Such a hard decision my co-hosts and I had to make! But here they are:

Mom’s spicy chicken roast from Anjana @ Happy and Harried

“I can imagine the lovely mix of flavours, with the tender chicken and the anticipation as this feast is cooking. How lucky Anjana is to have such a gorgeous recipe in the family and how generous to share it with us!” —Petra

Harissa Halloumi & Roasted Vegetable Wraps & Sweet Potato Wedges from Hannah @ Domestic Gothess

“Love, love, love this platter! Absolutely my kind of platter! Such a creative and unique dish to share with FF 103. I am so glad that you shared this too along with your bars :).” — Sonal

Scallops w/ pineapple salsa and plum wasabi drizzle from Julie @ Hostess at heart

“I would never have thought of putting scallops with a pineapple salsa or a plum wasabi drizzle but reading the recipe and looking at the mouth watering photos I wonder why not?! A perfect dish for sharing. Scallops are a lovely treat and these look absolutely amazing.” — Petra

Safron-Orange Chicken w/ Pomegranate from Petra @ CrumblesandKale

“Whoaaaa! I am a vegetarian who feeds a non Vegetarian family and if I am saying that this dish just got my eyes locked and hooked at your pictures, then my lady…this means I loved it. Love your recipe and that glowing color is absolutely stunning..That is a show stopper for sure!” — Sonal

Now, let’s party! Join Fiesta Friday #104 by adding your link. Don’t forget to link your post to FiestaFriday.net and the co-hosts’ blogs. Your co-hosts this week are Mila @ milkandbun and Hilda @ Along The Grapevine

If you’re new to Fiesta Friday, please read the guidelines

I link to Fiesta Friday (not the Novice Gardener), although I will miss your old page! I’m so glad all the delicious food is making its way over here. Great selections this week as well! And, I’m off to bed since it’s midnight here! Can’t wait to mingle with all the guests when I wake up in the morning. 🙂

Nighty night, Kaila! I’m going to miss the old blog, too. I kinda like that name, TheNoviceGardener, but I think it doesn’t reflect who I am anymore. Sleep tight! XOXO
