I’m still getting a steady trickle of followers on the other blog TheNoviceGardener. What gives?! I hope they know it’s being abandoned.
I guess it’s partly my fault for not marking it private. I guess I will need to eventually do that once I completely transfer all food-related posts to this happy, happening, hang out party hall.
And I guess I’ll need to erase any mention of TheNoviceGardener everywhere. So there won’t be any more accidental followers.
I’ll do my part, and you’ll do yours, deal?
If you have been calling me TheNoviceGardener or linking to TheNoviceGardener in your FiestaFriday posts, please start mentioning and linking to FiestaFriday instead.
That way there’s no more confusion where the happy, happening, hang-out party hall is. We all know it’s FiestaFriday, right?!
Features Time
So many great recipes to select from last week’s fiesta! Such a hard decision my co-hosts and I had to make! But here they are:
Mom’s spicy chicken roast from Anjana @ Happy and Harried
“I can imagine the lovely mix of flavours, with the tender chicken and the anticipation as this feast is cooking. How lucky Anjana is to have such a gorgeous recipe in the family and how generous to share it with us!” —Petra
Harissa Halloumi & Roasted Vegetable Wraps & Sweet Potato Wedges from Hannah @ Domestic Gothess
“Love, love, love this platter! Absolutely my kind of platter! Such a creative and unique dish to share with FF 103. I am so glad that you shared this too along with your bars :).” — Sonal
Scallops w/ pineapple salsa and plum wasabi drizzle from Julie @ Hostess at heart
“I would never have thought of putting scallops with a pineapple salsa or a plum wasabi drizzle but reading the recipe and looking at the mouth watering photos I wonder why not?! A perfect dish for sharing. Scallops are a lovely treat and these look absolutely amazing.” — Petra
Safron-Orange Chicken w/ Pomegranate from Petra @ CrumblesandKale
“Whoaaaa! I am a vegetarian who feeds a non Vegetarian family and if I am saying that this dish just got my eyes locked and hooked at your pictures, then my lady…this means I loved it. Love your recipe and that glowing color is absolutely stunning..That is a show stopper for sure!” — Sonal

I link to Fiesta Friday (not the Novice Gardener), although I will miss your old page! I’m so glad all the delicious food is making its way over here. Great selections this week as well! And, I’m off to bed since it’s midnight here! Can’t wait to mingle with all the guests when I wake up in the morning. 🙂
Nighty night, Kaila! I’m going to miss the old blog, too. I kinda like that name, TheNoviceGardener, but I think it doesn’t reflect who I am anymore. Sleep tight! XOXO
Wow, a savory collection of features – everyone must be detoxing from sweet things 🙂 Only partly kidding, they all look fantastic, and I seem to have missed a couple of them so must go back and look!
I didn’t even realize! But these spoke to me late last night as I made my selections. There’s only one solution; I’d better start making a cake! 😀
It was really tough to pick the best from last week!! Well picked Angie!
I went through the list late last night and was getting hungry by the minute. And there was nothing to eat! I finally fried some bacon. At midnight!
??
Pardon me but I just CANNOT take my eyes off that Safron Chicken!!!!!! WOW, that’s incredible. Happy FF, Angie!!
I saw that and I fried some bacon, only ‘coz that was the only thing I had that was quick to make and I was getting hungry! I’m going to give Petra an earful! 😀 😀
Oh my goodness! Those features are amazingly good and look so tasty! Yummy-yummy! 🙂
Glad to co-host this FF!
So, let’s party everybody! 😀
I know, right?! They’re making me so hungry! Happy to have you co-hosting, Mila. Thanks so much! XOXO
My pleasure Angie! I do love FF parties! Hugs
And we love YOU!!!
Angie how about putting a referral link to FF on your old site? Thanks for featurimg my post this week! That’s awesome!
That’s a great idea!! Would you like to be my consultant? I pay with lots of love and hugs. Mind you, the virtual kind, haha…
Hey Angie! Great features as always! Oh so delicious! 🙂
Sorry I have been MIA! We are relocating to sunny Dubai from sunny Florida and I’ve been busy wrapping, packing, shipping. LOL!
I promise to be back soon.
Happy Fiesta Friday and good luck!
xxx
Oh wow, that’s a big and exciting move!! Good luck! Keep us updated, please!
I shall be back in action soon! Miss FF!
Can’t wait to have you back! We’ve missed you, too! ?
People just don’t want to leave your blog for fear of missing out on any of your fabulousness!!!
I’d like to think that’s the real reason, lol! but I think most of them follow by accident 🙂 But maybe I can twist their arm to join us at Fiesta Friday, instead.
Ha ha! Good luck x
Helllooo! So excited to be back at Fiesta Friday, especially after looking at those colourful features, yum!
I missed you guys! Can’t wait to check out all the recipes
And we’ve missed YOU!! So good to have you back. No, so GREAT!! Don’t leave again, at least not for long 🙂
My posts will definitely be less frequent, but I definitely don’t plan to go anywhere any time soon!!
Gorgeous features, as always! I guess, technically you should be considered an experienced gardener by now, so shame on them for following you 😉
Looking forward to this weeks party!!
Well, they thought wrong if they did. I somehow managed to kill my daisy plant. The clump got smaller and smaller til one day it was all gone. And daisies are supposed to be weeds, aren’t they? Oh, well, there’s always next year! 🙂 But pretty sure these are accidental followers!
Oh, so so happy I made it into here. Thank you so much for featuring my recipe. Really made this crappy day so much better 🙂
Aaw…sorry to hear about the crappy day, but happy to hear we cheered you up! That chicken is on my list to make asap! XOXO
So many yummy looking features, Angie. Makes me wish I hadn’t missed the past couple of parties. I’m looking forward to seeing what yummy recipes everyone brought along 🙂
Where were you?! Lol, I’m like the mom here. I have to know where everybody is at all times, haha… So glad you can make it this week XOXO
Haha! Just been crazy busy. We bought a new house, so the past couple of weeks have been dealing with selling ours. i also do some bookkeeping on the side and have been busy with year end/tax stuff. But, I’m back now, lol
Wow, congratulations! That’s exciting! I wish I can trade my old house for a new one, lol! 🙂
I’m drooling over that spicy chicken roast! Yummmmy! Have a great weekend!
Me, too! And that saffron chicken as well! Have a great FF and weekend, Sarah! XOXO
Hi Angie, Thanks for hosting. Featured recipes are nice.
Not a problem. So glad you like the features!
I’m here! I’m here, Angie! I am so late, but I brought in a simple, yet delicious cake! The past days were crazy that is why I am being one, too. 😀
I am using Fiesta Friday when I mention your name, Angie. So sad to see The Novice Gardener going, but hey, Fiesta Friday will stay and I am so excited to see TNG’s followers here.
As always, thank you for the wonderful party, Angie. x
I hope you have a relaxing weekend.
I thought you’d never come, Jhuls! I was beginning to worry, haha… I love simple yet delicious cakes. Now I need some tea to go with that cake! Maybe chamomile tea. I do need to relax my nerves 😀
Haha, I know you’ll miss me, so I decided to come! 😀 I’d share that chamomile tea with you – I need some relaxing, too!
What lovely features Angie! Each one of them is gorgeous!
Each deserves a blue ribbon award! 🙂
HappY FF Angie, Mila, Hilda and all you lovely ppl! coming to the party with some Classic red velvet cake coz classics never go out of style 🙂 Hope you like it.
Of course we do! Nobody would ever say no to red velvet cake! Thanks, Trupti! XOXO
? hugs to you too
As you may have realized,Angie, I’ve not been around WP much lately. Coming here again I’m every bit as amazed by the number, variety, and, above all else, the quality of the dishes presented. Well done!
I’m in a constant state of awe myself, John. I have so many recipes saved in my archive enough for the whole year! 🙂
Gorgeous features! The colours in each are so vibrant but I think that the pomegranate on the saffron-orange chicken really stands out and draws your eyes in to look at the entire dish. Nom!
I couldn’t take my eyes off it myself! And it was midnight when I finally got around to viewing it so I had to fry some bacon, lol. I was getting hungry and that was the one quick thing I had! 😀
Haha! A good way to get rid of those cravings!
Hello Angie!! Love your collection! So much of goodies in one place. Yum!! Thanks for adding me. 🙂
No problem, thanks for stopping by and sharing your adorable red velvet cupcakes! 🙂
My gosh, the guest list is overwhelming! So many yummy things to see and read and dream about.
Always a problem for me, too, Sheri, especially at night when I don’t have anything to eat, lol! 😀
