Fiesta Friday #555

It’s Fiesta Friday #555, you guys! I don’t know what the significance of the number 555 is, but it sounds pretty cool so I decided to celebrate by splurging on the pink pineapple known as PinkGlow™.

Pink Pineapple | FiestaFriday.net

Actually, I lied. I didn’t buy the pink pineapple to specifically celebrate Fiesta Friday #555. I just got it because I was curious. I was really hoping that you could taste the “pink” in it. You know, like maybe it would taste like pink cotton candy, which some reviewers claim. Or maybe it would taste like a pink starburst, which would have been awesome.

Unfortunately, despite the cute name and the high price, pink pineapple tastes just like any pineapple. The one I had was deliciously sweet and very juicy, but I’ve had yellow pineapples that are just as good. Once I even had white-fleshed pineapple called Sugarloaf that was so sweet that even the core tasted good.

Anyway, I’m glad I gave PinkGlow™ a try but I probably won’t rush to buy it again unless it’s on sale. Maybe I’ll make pink dried pineapple flowers with it. Wouldn’t that be pretty?!

It’s Features Time!

Rustic Palak Paneer Galette

Easy Churro Cheesecake Bars

Taco Tuesday Casserole

Sweet Whiskey Skillet Teriyaki Chicken

Disappointing, right?! It’s a good pineapple but I’m not sure it’s worth the price. Thanks for linking up! XO

I saw this pink pineapple before but didn’t buy it because it’s pricey. Now that I know it tastes like the “regular” pineapple, I am glad I didn’t buy one. HAHA! Happy Fiesta Friday, Angie! x

Well, I had to give it a try. Don’t get me wrong, I think it tastes very good but it’s hard to justify the price! Thanks for co-hosting, Jhuls! XO
