As the weather is finally slowly warming up, I try to spend more time outdoors, visiting my plant pets mostly.
Occasionally I pick up the rake and do a little clean-up here and there.
Even less than occasionally, I pick up the lopers to snip wayward branches and stuff.
Yesterday, on one of those less-than-occasionally moments, as I was lopping eye-level branches threatening to poke you blind, I looked up and noticed a little nest up on the pear tree.
Then another one on the apple tree.
Naturally, they reminded me of this.
This is a food blog, after all, not a nature blog.
