Hi, guys! I’m happy to report that my arm is slowly getting better, the operative word being slowly. Luckily, I’ll finally get to see my doctor tomorrow and I can’t wait for him to do something about it.
A referral to a physical therapist who can massage this pain away would be most welcome. I hate not being healthy!
But, let’s not dwell… I’d rather talk about what’s coming up. February will be here before we know it, and although it is a short month, it is quite an eventful one. Super Bowl, Chinese New Year, and Valentine’s Day will all be happening in a few weeks!
Anybody throwing a party? Making a special meal? How will y’all celebrate? Do tell!
And if you feel like cohosting for the month of February, or March, or April… or any month, please let me know, too.
Okie dokie, artichokie, that’s all for now. Over and out!
Now, let’s take a look at these!
“OMG!!! These look so gorgeous! I haven’t tried anything like these, but that doesn’t mean I don’t find these delicious. By looking at the filling, I knew from the moment I laid my eyes on them, they taste fantastic!” — Jhuls
“It does look really scrumptious, doesn’t it?! It’ll be perfect for a Super Bowl party!” — Angie
“All I want for breakfast tomorrow morning is a plate of pancakes with Mollie’s bacon pecan syrup!” — Ai
“These pork ribs look so tender and delicious! It’s also gluten-free, paleo, and Whole30 friendly!” — Ai

Glad to hear your arm is starting to feel better. I understand how difficult it is to not be well, I hate not being healthy too!
Angie says
Thanks, Kristina! Isn’t it frustrating to not be completely healthy? I guess it’s a wake up call to treat and listen to your body well. Don’t take it for granted.
Kristina says
Yes, that’s for sure!

hi Angie
Happy New Year! A bit late I know, I seem to have spent January at a slow slow pace.
Am sorry to hear about your arm! I hope the doctor will bring you good news!
This year there will be more focus on pop up restaurants kicking off with a sushi Valentines 🙂 Am hoping to make it to my local Chinese for some dim sum to celebrate the Chinese new year, fingers crossed.
take care! x
Angie says
Hi, Petra! Happy New Year to you, too! Sushi Valentines sound incredible, to say the least. You’re so creative to be coming up with all these ideas. Wish I lived close by so I could patronize your pop up restaurants. My arm is getting better, even if slowly, but I take it as long it keeps getting better ?
Of Goats and Greens says
I am glad your arm is improving quickly, Angie. Been there, not fun!
Anyhow, thanks for highlighting my country style pork recipe.
And, I am looking forward to the Fiesta during this coming week, co-hosting and all.
Angie says
So not fun, Diann. At times I feel like screaming out of frustration. But I think I’m finally getting better, plus the doctor’s visit tomorrow hopefully will help even more. I was happy to see a sous vide recipe. My machine is sadly neglected. Thanks so much for cohosting! ??
Ginger says
Poor you! Sounds very uncomfortable 🙁 Hope you get well soon!
Angie says
Thanks! I think I can say today that I’m getting better; feels different. We’ll see what the doctor has to say tomorrow. Btw, GREAT to see you at the fiesta!
Lathiya says

Hi guys! First of all thanks for the feature on my syrup and by default pancakes (I wish I had some now, and some of all those features! and second, I’m happy to be hosting this week with Diann!!! I can see everyone’s already been busy! Whew – I have some visits to make! C/U all soon!!
frugal hausfrau says
Angie, hope you’ll forgive me for getting preachy, but I want to remind everyone to link if you’d like to be featured. And we ALL love to be featured, but it’s not just about seeing your post up there or the visits you’ll get.
If you want to appear higher on the list when someone searches for a recipe on Google or another search engine, links count. You want at least two outgoing links to other sites, and of course, a feature gives links back to you. 🙂
And of course, while ranking is nice, the community Angie has created here and the friends you’ll meet? That’s priceless! Happy FF, everyone!!
Angie says
I may need to quote you on the next Fiesta Friday to remind everyone again the importance of linking. And I totally agree that while ranking is nice, it’s the camaraderie that makes Fiesta Friday so special. Thanks so much for speaking out! You’re the ultimate cohost! ??

Hi, Angie. It is great that your arm is improving. I’ve been there when my rheumatoid arthritis was at its worst and it was crazy. It is the reason why I am doing this Whole30. Well, apart from losing weight, of course. 😀 Wishing you a full recovery and yes, thank goodness it is already weekend. Happy Fiesta Friday, Angie.
Angie says
Thanks Jhuls. Just came back from the doctors office, it’s not arthritis or anything like that, most likely tendinitis which means resting the arm, being mindful what I do, etc. I’ve had it before and it took several weeks to heal. I’m glad it’s not anything more serious.
