Fiesta Friday #247

Happy Halloween, ghouls and goblins! You, too, scarecrows and skeletons! And not to forget, witches and wizards!

I have a little surprise for you, THIS!

Halloween Candy Trays | Nothing says Halloween like a tray or plate full of candy. Set it on your table with a few other decorations and your Halloween tablescape is done!

Dig in, demons and devils!

Now, take a look at more yummies!

Pork Belly Burnt Ends from Jaxx @ The Bearded Hiker

“Leave it to Jaxx to come up with a way to make burnt ends even better… or is it make pork belly even better? Either way, I’m craving Jaxx’s dish.” — Mollie

“Me, too! I mean, I did live in Kansas once, where burnt ends rule. I haven’t had them for like ages, being that I’m in New Jersey now. Is there even a good bbq restaurant in this state?! If you know of one, let me know, please! Anyway, this sounds so mouth-watering and all. Also, pork belly!!” — Angie

Figs with Gorgonzola and Prosciutto

“I wish I could have these little appetizers at every party. Figs and prosciutto is a heavenly combination, must try for everyone who hasn’t had it yet. Plus if you get a glass of bubbly – the party promises to be outstanding!” — Mila

Lemon Pots de Crème from Becky @ Bubbly Bee

“I was actually thinking of making pumpkin pots de crème, because you know, it’s pumpkin season and all… but I think lemon is much better, and contrary to what you may think, lemon season actually peaks during the winter months, so this would be fitting for the holidays.” — Angie

The Purple Pig Copycat Pork Neck Bone Gravy from Jas @ All that’s Jas

“Jas has come up with a dish that should be down-home but instead reads trendy, fun comfort! I could just dive into some of this, maybe over mashed potatoes!” — Mollie

When I was a kid, I wanted to be a witch. The good one, of course. I think I still want to be one.?? Happy Fiesta Friday, Angie. Those treats are so lovely – the kids and not-so-kids ? will love them.?

I’m always either a witch or the devil every year. Except the one year when I was Harry Potter (actually more like Hermione) and another year when I was a pumpkin ? This year maybe I’ll be a hippie ?

I know! This year just goes by so fast! Oh, you and your kids must be having so much fun. My daughter is still very much into Halloween, too, even though she’s in high school, but my son not so much ? Thanks for cohosting, Antonia ??

Happy Halloween! I’m sure you know that over here it’s no way near as celebrated as over there – but that doesn’t stop us loving all the Halloween recipes that keep popping up (you should link your sushi balls up)! What a fun weekend to be co-hosting! 🙂 Happy Fiesta!

I think every event or holiday is more commercialized in the US than everywhere else. That’s just how things are over here. Not that I’m complaining, I love Halloween! Thanks for cohosting, Laurena! I’m so glad you’re having fun! ??

Sugar rush alright! They’re supposed to go to my daughter’s party, except of course I plated them too early so I could take a picture. I’ve been nibbling here and there so now I have to buy more to replenish 😀 Happy Halloween, Jo!
