Fiesta Friday #239

I survived my first week of going back to work, people! It wasn’t too bad, actually. I didn’t feel as tired at the end of the day as I thought I would.

Maybe taking multivitamins does make a difference?! Take note of that, people, but who knows, really. Maybe I’m like Benjamin Button. Wouldn’t that be something? Anyway, it’s nice to not feel tired or sleepy all the time.

And I’m definitely thankful for this long Labor Day weekend. Maybe it’ll give me the chance to blog. I mean, real blogging, like taking pictures and writing recipes, etc. Maybe… We shall see…

Now, take a look at these yummies

Bolivian Peanut Soup from Lizet @ Chipa by the dozen

“I’ve never had Peanut Soup but I will remedy this soon. Just looking at Lizet’s photos and recipe is making me crave it!” — Mollie

“I’ve never had peanut soup, but seeing Lizet’s recipe makes me want to try it! She provides great instruction and her photos are beautiful!” — Mikaela

Bacon-Wrapped Cranberry Jalapeño Crackers from Colleen @ Faith, Hope, Love & Luck

“Colleen knocked it out of the park with these crackers. I am just about crazed to make them. Bacon and a special Sweet & Spicy Cranberry Jalapeño Jam” — Mollie

Galaxy Chocolate Cupcakes from Kat @ The Baking Explorer

“I can’t tell you how much I want one (or two) of these cupcakes! That frosting looks dreamy!” — Mollie

Green Chile Egg Bake from Mollie @ The Frugal Hausfrau

“I’m drooling over Mollie’s Green Chile Egg Bake. It’s such an easy recipe to prepare for breakfast. It’s simple, versatile and perfect topped with a little bit of salsa” — Mikaela

Thanks so much for featuring my Bolivian Peanut Soup! And the kind comments ❤
Angie, I think I may need those multivitamins ? We’re already finishing week 4 of homeschool ? but I’m so tired.
    Have a great weekend!

I used to be tired all the time, too. Blood test revealed I was anemic and low on some vitamins and minerals. Get yours checked, Lizet! The peanut soup is incredible, so unique!

Those cupcakes, yes, I agree!! Thank goodness for the long weekend, right?! I think I’ll relax by doing a cooking marathon. We’ve been doing too much takeouts.

Hi Angie, I hope you had a good summer, I was away in Canada for a month, which took me away from blogging for a bit. I am back now so it’s also back to blogging! Have a nice long weekend:)

I had a great summer considering how short it was. Seriously it was gone in a blink of an eye. Can’t wait to hear all about your Canada adventure. One whole month, wow!

Yeah, you should, Jhuls. I also take an iron supplement, but that one I hate. Makes me feel sick. But I need to. Well, what are you gonna do, right. Must listen to your doctor.

Time flies – back at school already! We’ll soon be following over here, I really don’t know where the holidays went! 🙁 Oh well, at least I should have more time for cooking soon… or maybe more visits to the allotment! Hmmm, maybe, I forgot my knee operation was looming (so glad it was postponed so I got to enjoy Summer)! Anyway, I’m bringing my chocolate peanut butter cookies over here (as you asked so nicely)! Enjoy! 🙂

More visits to the allotment sounds good. I’ve stopped visiting my backyard daily, though, it’s been too humid. Can’t stand it. So things are looking neglected. Oh well, we’ll have the cooler fall weather to look forward to. Glad to see you with your cookies at the fiesta, yay!

What a fabulous round up. Glad that your return to work went well. I have a pack of multi vitamins in the cupboard that I take once in a blue moon!I’m completely hopeless. Feeling inspired to get them out again! Have another good week.
