Summer is officially here! For me, that is. But for the rest of you, sorry to say it’ll take a few more days…
Oh, I’m just teasing you…which only proves how happy and free I feel.
Yesterday, as soon as I came home from work, I went straight to my backyard and ransacked my garden. Then I ransacked my fridge and freezer.
Then with a little stir here, and a little shake there, I was ready to celebrate my freedom in style. Woohoo!!

No need for recipe, Jhuls! Just ransack your supplies, muddle herbs and fruits in a glass or shaker with a little sugar, add seltzer, ice cubes and that’s it! See, so easy! ? Thanks for cohosting! ?

Who said the gardening is done? It’s never done, Lily! ?? You’re too cute! And I love your easy recipe. I happen to have both strawberries and rhubarb in the garden. My rhubarb though, is green, and after cooking it looks kinda yucky ☹️ Maybe I need to plant a different variety.
A few drops of red food coloring can help with that.

Enjoy the good weather, Petra! I was out and about in the garden today. A little humid, though. Then I found a bunny feasting on my broccoli, but it was so scrawny I didn’t have the heart to shoo it away ? I can always buy my broccoli ?
Hi Angie someone once told me grow 10-20% for nature and the rest for you. I hope the little bunny left you some of the broccoli! I would do the same as you! It is getting hotter and hotter here, just amazing I hope you have a spell of the same lovely weather! x

Lucky you! Wish we could have Spring a little longer here, or forever ? I hate it when it’s cold but I hate it more when it’s hot. I can never win! ?
You are right! It’s never the right weather. I have the same thing. Don’t like too hot more than I don’t like the cold. And this after living in the tropics of all my life. I’m staying indoors if the temp hits 30 degrees.

I’m thinking of you enjoying that summer weather Angie – here in Sydney we face the shortest day of the year tomorrow and so it’s about as cold as it gets (high single digits)….
I always find it fascinating that when it gets warm here, you guys over there are settling in for the cold ? Single digits, though, is too cold!! Wish it could be Spring forever. Or Fall ?
