May I remind you that Easter is fast approaching? Do something!
↑
It’s a reminder to myself, not yous, up there. Yous, on the other hand, don’t need any reminder.
Coz yous are exemplary food bloggers, all of yous. Yous, coz there are many of yous. ← Not a typo.
Yous already knew Easter was coming since before it was Valentine’s Day. That’s how yous roll.
Forgive my silliness. I’m writing this at midnight. Coz we had appointments, then we had dinner, then we had to find ice cream.
Then we had to find a cake coz when you have ice cream, apparently you also must have cake. ← According to the husband.
Anyway, here’s wishing you a happy Fiesta Friday and a g-r-r-r-eat weekend!

Great features Angie! I “liked” FF but it is not adding me for some reason. Have a good weekend!
Angie says
You clicked the like button but it didn’t add your gravatar? Is that what you mean? Maybe it’s just slow?
carolinescookingblog says
Yay, thanks for the feature! Looks like I am in good company, as always. I know what you mean on thinking about Easter, but we never eat anything in particular so I find it tricky to know what to share. Must get on it though!
Angie says
Easter used to be my favorite holiday actually, especially when the kids were little. All the pastel colors, egg hunt, etc. I even used to make a lamb cake! I mean, a cake in the shape of a lamb. But we’ll be out of town this year. Maybe I’ll just dye eggs and call it a day ?
Jhuls says
That’s a reminder to myself, too, Angie. That means I need to get cream eggs for my brownies. ? I agree with the cake + ice cream. I like how your husband thinks.? Thanks for the party, Angie! Have a lovely weekend to you as well.?
Angie says
Cream egg brownies?! Is that a promise?!
Jhuls says
Cream egg brownies? Creme egg brownies??
Hmm, I think so. And I also think that promises are sometimes meant to be broken.??
FrugalHausfrau says
So are eggs, Jhuls, so are eggs…yous is toooo funny. But cream egg brownies – I know it was just missing a comma but what about Cadbury Cream Eggs in Brownies? Yous guys might have stumbled on something!
Jhuls says
Oh well, that’s what people tell me about the funny thing. But yes, Cadbury Cream Eggs in Brownies sounds better.? I need a very good sleep – I haven’t slept very well for weeks! Then by that time, I’ll be my normal crazy self again.?
FrugalHausfrau says
hahha! Well yous had a lot going on lately!! But we love having you back sleep or no…:)

Angie, thanks very much for the honor of being amidst such nice features! We don’t celebrate Easter, so haven’t been thinking much of it. Our Hindu New Year is next week, so excited about that. Hope to party with you all this weekend.
Angie says
Oh how exciting! Will there be a big celebration? I can’t wait to see what y’all are going to feast on!
Ginger says
What did I miss! Again! Ah well, with Easter coming up I should get a bit more time to have a look at all those wonderful delicacies 🙂
Anyways, the kids are looking forward to colouring eggs and checking out what the Easter Bunny left for them, whilst we adults salivate over lamb-related stuff …
Angie says
Get with the program, Ginger! Can’t miss too many FF! ? Anyway, I’ll be expecting some spectacular German Easter something! ?
Ginger says
Ahhh the pressure, the pressure! Am I still down for co-hosting? We break up next Friday! Yay!
Angie says
Am I getting my dates all mixed up? I have 2 cohosts next week, but would love if you can take April 7. You’d be with Mollie.
Ginger says
Perfect! P.s. we’ve got 2 weeks off over Easter. Don’t tell anyone.
Angie says
Wonderful! On both counts, the cohosting and the long break. So jealous of the latter!
FrugalHausfrau says
Thanks all for voting for Banoffee Pie!! It WAS gooooood! And I cannot wait to make about 20 things from last week! Too many awesome recipes, not enough mouths, lol!!
Easter?? I haven’t even thought about it!! Food wise any way!! Still working on St .Pat’s leftovers, haha!!
Mollie
Angie says
You still have leftovers?! Why don’t I just come over? ? The pie is fantastic!!
FrugalHausfrau says
Thanks Angie! We’d love to have you! We were a little late in making our Corned Beef & then I hoarded the rest, lol!!
Josette@thebrookcook says
Love the features- I actually “figured out” how to vote this time. 😉 Have a great weekend!
Angie says
What?! You mean all this time…never mind…I’m just happy you figured it out, lol. Nice weekend ahead, Josette. Enjoy it! ?
marymtf says
Is your husband a bigamist, by any chance? I ask this because my husband needs ice cream with his pudding.
If we were inclined to forget Easter, the supermarkets and specialty bakery shops have been reminding us. Yous get that, Angie?
Angie says
They’re twins, separated at birth ? The supermarkets, my biggest tormentors! I is smart, Mary. I geddit.
marymtf says

Oh, I am so glad that you reminded us about Easter! You are right, it is just around the corner! I have to bring a few things to our family dinner, so I had better get to work!
Thanks so much for featuring my Meyer Lemon Coffee Cake. I really do appreciate it when I consider how many wonderful posts you have on FF each week!!
Have a wonderful week, Angie! And I know your Easter will all come together in something totally amazing! 😀
Angie says
Uh…I was thinking of dying some eggs and calling it a day. That’s not good? Okay I will add baked ham. Unless I can find some newly discovered motivation, that’s the extent of my Easter this year!
FrugalHausfrau says
There you go Angie – Ham and my Hasselback Potatoes. And Asparagus coz it’s supposed to be SPRING or so they tell us!!
Angie says
Okie dokie, ham and Mollie’s hasselback potatoes and asparagus. The menu is set ?
FrugalHausfrau says
lol! And when is dinner?
FrugalHausfrau says
lol! And when is dinner? I’ll be over!!
Antonia says
Easter already…crazy! Thanks for the reminder 😉 I love the features this week!
Angie says
I know, right? Before you know it, summer will be here! Then, the real fun begins ? Like, no work for me ?
