Yesterday felt like a soup day for me, even though, according to my husband, it was humid and muggy outside. I wouldn’t really know, as I was kept indoors with the AC running at full blast.
I craved soup because I was battling nasal congestion and a scratchy throat.
This time of year, I always seem to catch a cold. I stay healthy throughout the summer, but once I return to work for a few weeks, I end up getting sick.
Could it be a coincidence that I work with elementary school kids? These kids do wipe their snotty noses with their hands, and then they would hold mine!
Anyway, it’s not a big deal. It’s just a cold, and this Spiced Puy Lentil Soup helped me feel better.
In a few short days, I should feel 100% again!
Now, Look At These:
“Gosh, I’ve never thought to combine pasta with steak, though I do remember enjoying something similar at Olive Garden a long time ago. I’m so glad this recipe reminded me to give it another try!” — Angie
“These Bibingka Pancakes would elevate your weekend brunch into a special tropical treat! They look so goood!!” — Angie
“Dulce de leche in rice bars? Genius!” — Jhuls
“This cold foam coffee is giving me major cravings.” — Jhuls
