Fiesta Friday #531

Ah, it’s springtime! The sun is shining, the landscape is waking up, and animals are coming out of hibernation.

These picturesque scenes were taken at Central Park, NY, last weekend.

Then I came home and it poured… and poured… and poured…

By day #4 (or 5? Clearly, I’m brain-fogged from all the rain) of whole-day downpours, I was beginning to feel cross.

This was not the spring break I was looking forward to!

So when there was a break yesterday, I decided to get out of the house, even though I had no plan whatsoever about where to go. I just needed to see some greenery, touch vegetation, and be out in the open.

I ended up here.

Do you know where this is? And is that a hobbit house?

Then, it started to drizzle… I was really cross!

I cut short the excursion and drove home and consoled myself with these.

Hi, Angie! We are having very nice spring weather here in Southern Ontario; rain is not nice, but hopefully it will bring May flowers. Thank you for hosting another great Fiesta Friday, and also thank you for featuring my Coconut Stuffed Limes; this week I am sharing #8 Plantain Patties. Have a wonderful weekend!

It was sunny yesterday finally, but still cold for spring. I was still wearing my boots! I love the stuffed lime idea, btw. Can’t wait to give it a try!

Isn’t it cute? I still have no idea what it’s actually for. Maybe it truly is a hobbit house. Or maybe a Teletubby lives there 😂

Who’s ready for Cinco de Mayo?! I am! 🙋🏻‍♀️ May I suggest celebrating it with this Pineapple Margarita Chicken Quesadilla? You gotta make that Pineapple Margarita first, though. Coz that’s the marinade for the chicken! As if I need to twist any arms. 🤣 The more margarita, the merrier, says people everywhere. 🍸🥳 Link in bio!
