Gosh, I almost forgot today is Friday!
And how is it already Friday?! With the new year barreling towards us in a few days?! I’m not sure I’m prepared and ready to welcome it. Are you?!
I’m still recovering from Christmas. That was a brutally busy day for me; I was still shopping the morning of! That was so stressful! My mistake was relying on some online orders that ended up not arriving in time.
Lesson learned… I’ve managed to accomplish the necessary food shopping for New Year’s Day early so when the day comes I won’t be bereft of some important stuff, like these lucky ingredients.
You know what I’ll be making and serving, don’t you? Hoppin John is definitely involved.
