Fiesta Friday #494

I just have to show you my plants, you guys! Especially my herbs.

And also the chili peppers.

Don’t they look amazing? Somehow with all the heat and humidity as well as my traveling, these plants continue to flourish. Even though they’re growing in pots. It must be because of the good organic soil they’re growing in and the recent daily scattered showers.

It’s gratifying to be able to go out quickly and snip a few aromatics to help brighten quick and easy dishes like this sauteed shrimp and corn.

You can serve them atop pasta drizzled with olive oil or stuff them inside your tacos. That’s summer eating at its best, you guys! What are you enjoying right now?

Thanks! As luck would have it, the resident rabbits avoid these plants grown in planters on the patio. Other plants in the ground? Not so lucky 😂 Love that vacation post!
