The end of the school year is fast approaching, but somehow things just keep getting busier for me. Preparations for upcoming travel plans become front and center in my daily routine.
It’ll be the first time in 3 years that I travel by plane, or have a need for a passport. Gosh, I definitely feel a little apprehensive! I seem to have forgotten how to pack a suitcase, or what to bring on a long trip!
I also definitely need a new smartphone and/or a new iPad. How am I going to entertain myself waiting around in airports and such?! My devices are so long in the tooth I’m practically tethered to the outlet whenever I use them.
So… lots of shopping to do before the trips.
In case you’re wondering where I’ll be going… the husband and I are going to Spain for a week, and then we’ll also take the kids to see our extended family in the West Coast.
As far as Spain goes, since this is my first time, I’m looking forward to a myriad of tapas and pinchos. All the good stuff! Friends who are in the know suggest we also try paella and churros. But I’ve had paella and churros many, many times before. I’ve even made my own churros.
Perhaps they taste different in their country of origin?! We shall see.
If you’ve been there or are from there, let me know what else I should be trying, or buying, while in Spain. Thanks in advance!

Hi, Angie! Your trip to Spain sounds very exciting; I have not been there, but I can tell you that they have awesome shoes and clothing, from the pieces that I used to buy in Mexico. Thank you for hosting another great Fiesta, I am sharing #2 Japanese Stick Cookies. Have a wonderful week!
