Gosh, it got so hot this week! I can’t stand the heat, guys! So I got out of the kitchen.
We’re subsisting on salads and cold sandwiches.
Don’t feel sorry for us. We’re eating well, truly.
Yesterday’s salad looked like this.
Pasta salad for the win! With minimal cooking and prep other than boiling the pasta and slicing the vegetables, pasta salad remains one of my family’s favorite salads.
What about you, friends? What are you cooking and eating when the weather is warm?
Now, take a look at these:

Thanks! I’m happy to see you here, Petra. We’ve been missing your excellent recipes. I like warm weather enough but I don’t enjoy the humidity, I have to say. You get sticky all over, basically yech… If I could send over the heat, I would in a heartbeat ?

So it’s soups & stews for us Angie!

Thanks for hosting and for featuring my Japanese Tofu xx

Yup, salad season is definitely here. Also, ice cream time, or is that anytime? ? My daughter would love that Japanese tofu; she loves tofu.
