I can tell the Year 2020 is going to fly by even faster than last year. I’ve barely done anything in the house since I came back from my Los Angeles/Las Vegas trip save for unpacking the suitcases, doing laundry, and taking down the few Christmas decorations we managed to put up before leaving, and now it’s already January 10th! And we’re into the second round of the Fiesta for the year.
If I’m not mindful, by the time the year ends, I will once again regret not having accomplished anything. We ought to be able to chalk up at least a couple of accomplishments each year, don’t you think? They don’t have to be major, but they should be significant enough to improve your life or the life of others.
I should make a list now… Number one, sleep more and sleep better… Number two, eat more fish and cook more fish for the family… I told you they don’t have to be major. Baby steps, people…
And now, time to open the fiesta.
From last week’s fiesta
“Look at that smoothie, sunshine in a cup! Breakfast smoothie sounds good, anti-inflammatory smoothie sounds even better!” — Angie
“A flavorful and delicious meal! Just perfect!” — Antonia
“A beautifully comforting dish, and the pictures are gorgeous!” — Antonia
“How cool is this?! Lisa actually grew the loofahs herself, from seeds to loofahs, before turning them into these cool-looking soaps. Now, who wants to grow loofahs, too? Me, that’s who!” — Angie

I’m back, it’s been a while as I lost my blogging and baking mojo, but look out 2020 here I come! ….oh and WOW, how amazing are those handmade lofas!!! Thanks for hosting and a bleated Happy New Year
It’s wise to take a break from blogging every now and then, but it’s great to have you back! Happy New Year to you, too!
Looking forward to co-hosting this coming week’s Fiesta Friday! I won’t be around Saturday but otherwise I’ll be checking in. BTW, last week’s selections look awesome, and I’d love to learn to make loofah soap!
That’s fine, Diann, I can cover for you on Saturday. I want to make those loofah soaps, too!
I’m liking those mango smoothies, and the loofah soaps look so nifty! Thanks for hosting! I brought by some Elderberry Syrup. Happy New Year! 🙂
Those loofah soaps seem to be the crowd favorite. Elderberry Syrup is so delicious. I started growing elderberry bushes last year because of it. I hope they’ll give me lots of elderberries!
Hope you have a great week and thanks so much for the party!
Miz Helen
Thanks, Miz Helen. You have a great week, too.
Thank you for the feature with these amazing selections. I can’t wait to try out the loofah soap.
You’re welcome, Zeba. Let me know if you can cohost in the coming weeks.
Anytime you need me too!
Is next week too soon? I’ve completely run out of cohosts!
I should be able to. Not getting any notification on the replies here. Not sure what is wrong with my setting. I used to get them but something has changed. Do you know what that may be?
I can’t say for sure. I’m unable to leave you any comments on your posts, either. Check your spam folder and/or Akismet setting. So I’m putting you on to cohost next week FF#301. Thanks so much!
Love your picks. Thank you for featuring my loofah soaps. If you would like some seeds, just shoot me an email. I’ll be glad to send you some.
Lisa
You’re welcome. Thanks so much for the seed offer, that’s so generous of you, but I just sent in my annual seed order and I included loofah seeds. Hopefully I can grow them.
Thanks so much for hosting!
You’re welcome!
I want more sleep and eat healthier foods this year.?
Love the features, but that handmade loofah soap really got my attention – how amazing!!! Happy Fiesta Friday, Angie!?
Two very challenging resolutions to accomplish, Jhuls, unless you live by yourself ? I totally blame my husband and kids for my lack of sleep and bad eating habit!
Hi, Angie! Thank you so much for hosting another great party, and especially thanks to you and Antonia for featuring my heirloom Spaghetti and Braciole recipe. This week I am sharing a snack and a beverage (with Tequila!) Have a wonderful week!
