Fiesta Friday #310

I can tell the Year 2020 is going to fly by even faster than last year. I’ve barely done anything in the house since I came back from my Los Angeles/Las Vegas trip save for unpacking the suitcases, doing laundry, and taking down the few Christmas decorations we managed to put up before leaving, and now it’s already January 10th! And we’re into the second round of the Fiesta for the year.

If I’m not mindful, by the time the year ends, I will once again regret not having accomplished anything. We ought to be able to chalk up at least a couple of accomplishments each year, don’t you think? They don’t have to be major, but they should be significant enough to improve your life or the life of others.

I should make a list now… Number one, sleep more and sleep better… Number two, eat more fish and cook more fish for the family… I told you they don’t have to be major. Baby steps, people…

And now, time to open the fiesta.

From last week’s fiesta

Anti Inflammatory Mango Breakfast Smoothie from Mary @ Pots + Planes

“Look at that smoothie, sunshine in a cup! Breakfast smoothie sounds good, anti-inflammatory smoothie sounds even better!” — Angie

An Heirloom Recipe from Irene @ My Slice of Mexico

“A flavorful and delicious meal! Just perfect!” — Antonia

Station Wale Aloo – Simple Potato Curry from Zeba @ Food For The Soul

“A beautifully comforting dish, and the pictures are gorgeous!” — Antonia

Handmade Loofah Soap from Lisa @ Life Away From The Office Chair

“How cool is this?! Lisa actually grew the loofahs herself, from seeds to loofahs, before turning them into these cool-looking soaps. Now, who wants to grow loofahs, too? Me, that’s who!” — Angie

Looking forward to co-hosting this coming week’s Fiesta Friday! I won’t be around Saturday but otherwise I’ll be checking in. BTW, last week’s selections look awesome, and I’d love to learn to make loofah soap!

I’m liking those mango smoothies, and the loofah soaps look so nifty! Thanks for hosting! I brought by some Elderberry Syrup. Happy New Year! 🙂

Those loofah soaps seem to be the crowd favorite. Elderberry Syrup is so delicious. I started growing elderberry bushes last year because of it. I hope they’ll give me lots of elderberries!

I should be able to. Not getting any notification on the replies here. Not sure what is wrong with my setting. I used to get them but something has changed. Do you know what that may be?

              January 12, 2020 at 12:59 pm

I can’t say for sure. I’m unable to leave you any comments on your posts, either. Check your spam folder and/or Akismet setting. So I’m putting you on to cohost next week FF#301. Thanks so much!
