Hello, good Fiesta Friends everywhere! Happy Friday to you all!
If you’re thinking that I’ve been neglecting the fiesta and acting like an absent host, you’re not entirely wrong. I haven’t been able to check on the fiesta because I’m still traveling. The husband and I decided to take a slight detour to Las Vegas before going home, so that’s where I am now.
So many things to see in Las Vegas, am I right? I’m never going to experience all that Las Vegas has to offer.
I’m not much into gambling and all that, but I do enjoy the glitz and the glam. And the food scene, of course. There are just so many exciting eateries I want to visit.
But all good things must come to an end, as they say. We’ll be back home by the next fiesta, that’s for sure. Which is just fine with everybody; we all miss our Skye, who seems to be forgetting us judging from the pictures and updates our dog sitter has sent us. That pooch!
Alrighty, then, I’m signing out for now and will join you at the fiesta as soon as I can.
From last week’s fiesta

Me, neither. The year just went by too fast. Happy New Year to you!
Wishing you and your family a very happy new year! Thanks so much for the party and have a great week!

Thanks, Miz Helen. Happy New Year to you, too!
Oh gosh, Angie sounds like so much fun!! I hope you’ll update us all on your doings (and especially what you ate and where! Hey, I’m all about the food. I’m sure Skye will be ecstatic when you get home.
And thanks for the feature on the roast!! 🙂 Happy FF everyone! I’ll be visiting soon. Whew, the time has flown this week!!
Mollie
I’m all about the food, too. I usually sulk when the husband wants to sightsee. I’m only interested in the restaurants, lol. Your roast pork is perfect for New Year’s Day celebration.
Las Vegas is so much bigger than life, I find it somewhat overwhelming and hope you had a wonderful time. Happy New Year Angie.
It is a little overwhelming, especially at night. So much traffic and so many people everywhere! Happy New Year to you, too.
Hi, Angie. Enjoy your time in Vegas. I could imagine the fun – yay! Thanks for hosting again this week.
Btw, just wondering if you have received my email regarding the features for FF#307?
No, I don’t see the email, Jhuls. I recently upgraded my spam filters because literally I get hundreds of spams daily, so maybe it got caught in the spams and I usually just empty the spams. No worries, I was able to get FF308 up and running, even with just my iPhone and iPad. Once I get home, I’ll try to tweak my spam filters again.
What better way to close (in my case start…) the year than with food & friends! Happy new year, Angie!
Hi, Sarah! Long time, no see. Happy New Year. Good to know you’re still baking/cooking/blogging. Join the fiesta this Friday? Say yes, please ?
hi Angie
How was Las Vegas? Did you gamble even a little? 🙂
I am so sorry I didn’t see this until now, thank you for the feature! So many delicious features, I especially love the walnut and sausage rolls! Yum!
Happy New Year 2020! x
I didn’t gamble at all. My daughter is underage so I mostly just hung out with her at Circus Circus Midway. Other than that, Vegas is…Vegas, lol. We didn’t do a whole lot; it was our 3rd visit there with the kids within the last 5 yrs or so. We did check out a couple of great restaurants, though. I’ll share some pictures if they turn out well.
