Fiesta Friday #254

So last week we had some really amazing links. So many great ideas and recipes for the holiday season. So very hard to choose just a few to be featured! I’ve saved at least a dozen, adding them to my growing list of Things To Try.

Thank you all who participated! I can’t wait for my Christmas break to start so I can do cooking/baking marathons.

Especially since we’re not planning to go anywhere this year, unlike many years when we had to travel to visit relatives and friends or to keep the kids from dying of boredom. The kids and the husband are quite content with the idea of cozying in and to just be lazy.

That’s what I’ve always wanted. It’s a major stress to travel during the hectic holidays, don’t you think?

To show my appreciation to y’all for sharing those awesome, awesome ideas, I was going to share my Spotify playlist with you, but after 2 hours of trying to embed it, I gave up! Just imagine me singing to you, instead, and try not to laugh!

Anyway, I’m very much looking forward to seeing what everybody is bringing to the fiesta this week!

First, let’s appreciate these fabulous links from last week:

Decadent Roasted Banana & Chocolate Celebration Cake from Kate @ Gluten Free Alchemist

“What a gorgeous cake and gluten-free as well. This cake is just begging to be a New Year’s dessert.” — Liz

“This is one absolutely stunning cake! Can you imagine the roasted banana and chocolate flavors permeating throughout? Mmm… very impressive!” — Angie

White Chocolate Roulade from Jenny @ Apply To Face Blog.

“For me, this roulade is the winner. Nothing can beat the meringue dessert, needless to say. The combination of sweet meringues and white chocolate with slightly sour raspberry is seriously delicious. And can be a hit at the festive table!” — Mila

“I can just taste this one, what a treat and so beautiful.” — Liz

Easy Mushroom Turkey Wellington with Chestnuts from Monika @ Everyday Healthy Recipes

“This is gong to be on the menu at next year’s Thanksgiving. What a wonderful way to dress up a turkey breast and add tons of flavor.” — Liz

Whoville Christmas Wreath Sugar Cookies from Colleen @ Faith, Hope, Love & Luck

“Are these the prettiest Christmas cookies or what?! They quite mesmerize me!” — Angie

***

Now, let’s party! Join Fiesta Friday #254 by adding your link. Don’t forget to link your post to FiestaFriday.net and the co-hosts’ blogs, so we can feature you. Your co-hosts this week are Antonia @ Zoale.com and Kat @ Kat’s 9 Lives

If you’re new to Fiesta Friday, please read the guidelines.

If you’re interested in becoming a co-host, please leave me a message.

It was so hard to narrow down the selections. Did you see all the scrumptious cookies?! In the end I decided with the ones that caught my eye first. Thanks for being a great friend of the fiesta, Mollie! It’s fun to party with you!??
