Hey, what’s up, fiesta friends?! Since my summer break started a few days ago, I’ve been sleeping. So I have no clue as to what’s going on in the world.
But today is going to be different. Today I’m going to go pick blueberries. Maybe some sour cherries as well. And then maybe I can make pies or something. I really have to get my act together.
I do own a food blog in case you haven’t noticed. But where’s the food, right?! I’ve been delinquent!
But you know, catching up on your sleep is very important! Is there such a thing as too much sleep? Just wondering.

Thank you so much for featuring my crumble! You don’t even have to go and pick cherries if you want to make it, just use frozen! I have! Enjoy your holidays. Don’t sleep through it though;)

Lol, I’m awake now. I actually love fruit-picking and sometimes go overboard and end up with way too much ? Then I’d be scratching my head what to do with them! ?
Liz says
Welcome to summer Angie, and a very well deserved rest. Looking forward to reading more about your garden and summer cooking. I am honored to co-host this week.
Angie says
No, Liz, WE are honored to have you as cohost! Seriously, I appreciate the time and effort you put into cohosting. Can’t possibly run the fiesta without any of my cohosts, so can’t thank you enough. I’m hoping to do a lot of cooking and gardening during my break, and a little traveling too, I suppose. Should be fun! ?

Enjoy your well deserved holidays Angie! I do love sleeping too, so I completely understand you. With 7 and 4 year-old kids I still get up way too early am afraid. I think that when they finally start sleeping late, I might go into some sort of short-term coma simply to catch up on years of sleep deprivation 🙂 One can dream lol 😉
Angie says
Lol, Jo ? Oh I remember those sleep deprived days when the kids were little. I don’t envy you! But they do grow up fast. Too fast, sigh…

I love to sleep. Saturday is my day. At least as much as a mom can sleep in, right? Enjoy your summer!
Angie says
Thanks, so far I’m not bored yet staying at home sleeping and catching up on Netflix. By week 2 or 3, I’ll probably need some kind of a distraction ?

I never knew sleeping is so good until this year when we had too many things to do at work. I understand the need for sleep, so yeah there is no such thing as too much sleep. Hahaha! Enjoy, Angie! Happy Fiesta Friday. I am late, but it’s better late than never. 😀
Angie says
But I think I’ve slept enough now. It’s time to watch TV instead ? Or go out to eat ?

Great party – thanks for hosting. The cake from cat is beautiful!!
Angie says
It’s a stunning cake, isn’t it? And I accidentally called it Pimps instead of Pimms ?
Antonia says
I hope your berry picking went well Angie! The features look yummy this week! Have a wonderful rest of your week! 😀
Angie says
Thanks, Antonia! I had so much fun picking and probably went a little overboard ? Now blueberries are everywhere in the fridge and freezer. It’s a good problem to have I guess ?
Kat (The Baking Explorer) says
Thank you for featuring my Pimms Cake, but it’s Pimms not Pimps! ?
Angie says
Omg, thanks for letting me know! Darn autocorrect! I’ll edit right now.
