Fiesta Friday #160

Punxsutawney Phil saw his shadow.

So he declared six more weeks of winter.

Oh, Phil, how could you be so wrong?!

It’s Spring already, don’t you see?! It’s been Spring since January!

Okay, I’m exaggerating but we really haven’t seen Old Man Winter that much this year. We’ve been enjoying some warm weather.

Yesterday was in the 70s! Skye and I spent hours in the backyard. Weeding for me. Running around like crazy for her. Good time!

I hope I haven’t jinxed it by complaining about Phil. I really shouldn’t be too hard on him. He’s just a groundhog, after all.

Enjoy the good weather, Fiesta Friday friends!

Now, take a look at these outstanding links from last week:

Easy No-Churn Moscato Ice Cream from Kristin @ Dizzy Busy and Hungry

“Look, it’s already Spring, alright?! So start thinking Summer and start thinking ice-cream. Like this one! Easy and no-churn. Aaand…moscato…what’s not to like?!” — Angie

Leek and Potato Dumpling Stew from Monika @ Everyday Healthy Recipe

“A beautiful presentation by Monika and such a heartwarming healthy dish. I have not made dumplings like this before so it totally had my attention. The freshness of the flavor and inviting colors along with the heartiness of the dumplings make it a perfect meal!” — Zeba

Caribbean Jerk Chicken from Anjana @ Happy & Harried

“I instantly fell in love with this one. I love dishes like this and I love it even more that the jerk marinade is homemade. Oh, Anjana, take me to the Caribbean by feeding me with this scrumptious meal!” — Jhuls

Potato Pancakes with Crispy Bacon from Ted @ Recipe Reminiscing

“Do I really need to say anything here? It’s crispy bacon. On potato pancakes. I like it that the pancakes are baked instead of fried. And that the bacon is rolled up. Pretty nifty!” — Angie

Now, let’s party! Join Fiesta Friday #160 by adding your link. Don’t forget to link your post to FiestaFriday.net and the co-hosts’ blogs, so we can feature you. Your co-hosts this week are Anugya @ Indian Curry Shack and Margy @ La Petite Casserole

If you’re new to Fiesta Friday, please read the guidelines.

P.S. I’ve run out of cohosts. Please let me know if you’re interested in cohosting Fiesta Friday. Old or new, veteran or newbie, you can all participate and we will appreciate!

Hold on to your horses Angie! It was almost 70 here on Wednesday and we have high winds and up to 4 inches of snow falling on us as we speak. I hope that takes care of my weeds!

Problem is Skye loves to use the lawn as a back scratcher. Then I feel like I need to give her a bath and she hates bath. It’s a vicious cycle! But I want her to be happy, so the cycle continues ?

Turns out Phil is not such a great prognosticator, he’s been wrong more times than right! Maybe they should have asked a bird instead. But Phil is definitely cuter ? Have a great weekend! ?

Hi Angie! Thank you so much for featuring my leek and dumpling stew! Hurricane Doris must have been kind to you if it’s so mild on your side of the ocean, it came to us here in the UK yesterday and let me tell you, it wasn’t spring weather:(

Great to hear you’re outside enjoying the warm weather with Skye Angie, it’s a bit chilly here in the UK but we do have signs of spring in the garden. A delicious round up this week, love the sound of that Jerk Chicken, just the thing to warm me up.
