Okay, I have nothing to talk to you about. Life is pretty boring right now. I’m a mom, what do you expect?
Okay, that’s not true. Life isn’t boring. It’s just, just, just…everyday…
Am I making sense? I’m sure you know what I mean. In fact, now that I think about it, it makes perfect sense.
Life is everyday. Wow. So. Profound. Wish I could put that on a t-shirt.
Anyway, I think I’ll visit the son this weekend to get myself excited. I miss yelling at him to clean his room! And I miss cooking for him. He used to be my regular customer.
I think I’ll make him some treats before I go. Now it’s starting to get exciting! Hmm…what should I make? I have a feeling I’ll be getting some pretty nifty ideas from you!

Sounds like you have plenty going on. I have some advice for new bloggers. Do it right the first time. I have spent the last three weeks cleaning up old post and overhauling the site. Almost done! Just in time to head to Hawaii next weekend. Woo Hoo! I am still looking for a guest blogger if anyone is interested, Sorry for the blast from the past links today. Happy FF and enjoy your trip to see your son Angie. :))
Angie says
I need to do that, too. I need to do a LOT to clean up my blog. But I prefer to procrastinate. Have fun in Hawaii!! So jealous!! You can have any of my old posts, if you like. I understand that’s not what guest blogging is about but I don’t have time to do anything now that I’m visiting the son ??
Dad Whats 4 Dinner says
It has been a pain in the asssssssssss!!!! That is why I am going to Hawaii. :))) But at least when it is done it is done. Whew!! Have a fun weekend! Did you notice the new logo/header??
Angie says
I saw it; it’s very clever! You should be a logo designer! ?
Dad Whats 4 Dinner says
Yeah, that is why I paid someone…:(( not enough time to learn Adobe Illustrator.

Ha ha, I understand! Sometimes it is hard to find something to talk about, even though everyday is so busy. Everything looks delicious! Happy Fiesta Friday and weekend!

Sometimes I have so much to talk about I don’t know where to begin and end ? Have a great weekend, Antonia! It’s a long weekend for us, woohoo!
Antonia says
Thank you! Us too, yay!

Just like my post today for this week’s amazing party – I feel that it’s so boring. I was thinking all week long what funny stuff should I talk about, but nothing came up. I guess even talkative people run out of words sometimes, eh? 😀 Happy Fiesta Friday, Angie. And enjoy your weekend! I will be spending my weekend in my happy place – my kitchen! Haha!
Angie says
You? Run out of words? Really?! Lol, just kidding, Jhuls! But it’s true sometimes I just want to be quiet ? Have a good weekend, thanks for cohosting! ?
Jhuls says
Yeahhh… when I am quiet, people always ask me ‘Are you okay? You are so quiet.’ It’s like talkative people don’t have the right to be in silent mode.?
Elaine @ foodbod says
There’s nothing boring about being a Mum 🙂 enjoy your boy this weekend, and thank you so so much for including me in the picks, I am honoured x x x
Angie says
Lol, of course ? I was just kidding. Sometimes, though, I want to be the kid, instead. To be carefree, no responsibilities… You have influenced a lot of people here at FF with the way you cook. I’m one of them! ??
Elaine @ foodbod says
That’s lovely, if it’s true, it makes some very happy and very proud 🙂 I just do what I do and hope someone likes it xx
Josette@thebrookcook says
Wow, a feature! Thank you so much. 🙂 🙂 I wish I had that crepe cake for dessert… I think your son needs one too! 😉
Angie says
Crepes happen to be his most favoritest breakfast! It’s no joke how many times he asked for them. One of my early breakfast recipes @TheNoviceGardener was an apple crepe. He’s going to wish he still lived at home if I bring a crepe cake ?? Your rice casserole looks so good! Now that one my son won’t eat, unfortunately ? He just won’t do mushrooms! Silly kid! But then there’ll be more for the rest of us ?

I know what you mean, Angie, these days it does feel like I’m just plodding through – sometimes in a good way, others not. I always need something to look forward to which for me is usually travel. Luckily I have a blog conference coming up in April to help with that 🙂 In the meantime, I travel through food – I definitely need to try some of those features to do that some more!
Angie says
It always feels blah around this time of the year. We need the sun!! Let’s all go to Hawaii for a week, and crash Quinn’s second honeymoon ? I suppose traveling through food is the next best alternative. I really should be cooking more ?

Hello Angie! I am finally back! It is a nice sensation being back to blog posting again and being here. What kept me away for so long was a new pregnancy! The first trimester and the weeks after were a real nightmare, I couldn’t do anything, except having nausea. Now everything seems ok- besides the fact that we are moving in a new house, so, please count on me if you need for the next co-hosting! Have a lovely weekend!
Angie says
That’s double celebrations, wow! Congratulations!! How exciting! In that case, I think you must cohost next week, FF160, Feb 24. Let me know if that’ll work for you. Wonderful news, Margy! ??
Liz @ spades, spatulas, and spoons says
Hi Angie, I agree it would be a great slogan for a T shirt. Have a wonderful weekend with your son.
Angie says
I wonder how much it would cost to make a few T-shirts, hmm… I’ve always wanted to make FF T-shirts. Btw, Liz, when can you cohost?
FrugalHausfrau says
I love ALL these features, Angie! There isn’t a single one that I don’t want to gobble up!!
Angie says
So many recipes, so little time…sigh… When can you cohost?

Angie says
I brought him brownies. Easy peasy to make ? I hope next week I can join the party as well. I haven’t posted a recipe in a looong time! ?
