Hiya, lovely Fiesta Friday friends! How’s it going with just a little more than a week before Christmas? Feeling panicky yet?!
Alright, alright… you don’t need reminders, or someone at your heels telling you what to do.
I think I’m just projecting my own situation on to you. I’ve got a million things left to check off on my to-do list. What with going out of town later today to attend my nephew’s graduation and traveling to the West Coast next week to celebrate the holidays with my and husband’s extended families.
But I do seriously still want to bring holiday cheer to my family, my home, and to you.
So I took the time yesterday to make these.
The plan is to transform them into some kind of an edible holiday centerpiece.
If they survive the day, that is. We’ve already started popping them into our mouths!

Candy Cane Cheesecake (No Bake) from The Baking Explorer
“Who doesn’t like cheesecake? Especially one that looks this good and contains oreos! Plus it is a no bake dessert, which I personally really like in desserts that look complicated (this one looks it but isn’t!). A stunning Christmas dessert! — Monika
“Anything no-bake desserts sounds magical to me. This peppermint-flavored cheesecake with Oreo crust will be loved most especially during the holiday season – festive, magical and delicious.” — Jhuls
Boozy Baileys Real Hot Chocolate from Gluten Free Alchemist
“This hot chocolate has got everything an adult Christmas beverage should have – it’s boozy, rich, warming and it looks fabulous too! You don’t need any mulled wine this Christmas, have this hot chocolate instead:)” — Monika
Chocolate Dulce de Leche Empanadas from Chipa by the Dozen
“I am always in when it comes to anything chocolate. These Chocolate Dulce de Leche Empanadas are something that I need to make soon – they look so attractive and I know these will be a hit with my folks.” — Jhuls
“This unusual body scrub – ‘unusual’ being a complement – is made with only 4 ingredients, which many of us can probably find in our cupboard and backyard. Makes a wonderful Christmas gift idea:)” — Monika

Thanks to all of the snow we just received (and continue to get) I have more time for co-hosting. I will check in on everyone eventually – Happy FF! What are those goodies you made Angie? Love those empanadas!

Those are cream puffs with craquelin on top, the French call them choux au craquelin. My plan is to form them into Croquembouche but I may not have time. Thanks so much for cohosting!! ??

Thanks so much for the feature, especially among such tempting holiday treats. Best wishes to you and all your FF party guests for a happy and festive season. And I would like to add that, busy as I am, I will be using Fiesta Friday recipes in much of my cooking over the next few days, and am so grateful for all the wonderful inspiration I get on this site.

You’re welcome, Hilda. It’s an excellent idea for holiday gift giving! I have a balsam fir tree, too. And to think I’ve been thinking of cutting it down! I’d better try this body scrub before anything like that happens!
