My family’s Thanksgiving Dinner menu is set in stone… normally. But this time around, I'm unable to persuade the daughter to forego her plant-based diet. So now I'm not sure what to serve. I work with a lovely bunch of teachers this year. That's not implying that I worked with unlovely teachers in the past, of course, but these teachers are particularly fabulous. Fall is arguably the busiest time of the year for a gardener. That’s me, I’m a gardener. Ergo, I’m busy. The lawn somehow grows even faster and more lush at this time of year, needing mowing more often, but that’s the husband’s job, or the son’s when he feels particularly helpful.
