It’s bánh mì time! These are vegan, stuffed with lemongrass tofu. I've made them a few times now, and I'm getting closer to perfecting them, hurray! My vegan daughter thinks they're very similar to the original, maybe even better. Here's the original version with grilled pork. I like both of them! I'd be happy with either one, honestly. It’s Cava vs. Honeygrow once again for Angie & Co. (That's just me & the husband, and sometimes the kiddos - both the human and canine ones). I maintain my preference for Cava while the husband favors Honeygrow. It’s all good; the two restaurants are right next to each other in the area we usually visit - near Moorestown Mall in South Jersey. It's Bibimbap time! Though it's not the same as the bibimbap you get at a Korean restaurant. This one is vegan, with tofu and Bang Bang sauce. So, more accurately, it's bibimbap-inspired. It’s bibimbap-ish, if you will. The non-vegan version with beef and a fried egg on top looks more like the authentic dish, but it's still missing the gochujang sauce because I ran out.
