With the arrival of cool and wet weather, the weeds in my garden are sprouting back rapidly. How can they grow so much faster, on neglect, than the plants you care for lovingly?! So annoying and frustrating, right?!
So even though I’d rather be watching the new season of The Diplomat, my plan this weekend is to do a big fall garden cleanup. Sadly…
But maybe I could add these weeds to my salad or soup? The edible ones only, of course — like dandelions, chickweeds, sorrel, etc.
Or I could use them to fill dumplings, empanadas, or these Jingalov Hats.

Because you know, if you can’t beat ‘em, eat ‘em. Or when life gives you lemons, make lemonade. Or in this case, when you have weeds, make Jingalov Hats!
Here’s wishing your weekend is free from weeds!
Now, These!

I thought I was the only one having that garden problem, though my garden grew pretty well this year. I truly appreciate you for taking the time each week to host this wonderful party! I brought BAKED CRACK CHICKEN, EVERYMAN STEAK with MUSHROOM GRAVY & MUSTARD NOODLES and CRANBERRY APPLE SLAB PIE. I hope you have a great week.
My garden is having a wild moment! All sorts of plants seem to be sprouting everywhere. They’re not all weeds, some are actually flowers that have dropped their seeds, but don’t they know it’s almost winter? 😂 Thanks for sharing your excellent recipes! ♥️
