Fiesta Friday #569

Hello, Fiesta Friends!

It’s confession time: I was relaxing a little too much and almost forgot that today is Friday! Just a few minutes ago, I realized that I hadn’t prepared a Fiesta Friday post. Good grief!

As a result, this post will be short. Besides, who wants to read a lengthy post after Christmas, am I right?

However, I do want to share the Lentil Loaf that was part of our Christmas table this year, along with a prime rib.

It’s hard to beat a good prime rib, but I have to say that Lentil Loaf gave it serious competition.

I wish you a wonderful and relaxing time with your family and I look forward to “seeing” you next week!

Now, This!

Hot Cocoa Cupcakes

“This is the best of both worlds.” — Jhuls

Christmas Gumdrop Nougat Recipe

“Gosh, I want to grab these by the handful and stuff them into my mouth! They look SO tempting!” — Angie

Cream Cheese Mints

“Simple, sweet, and sounds totally addictive!” — Jhuls

Biko with Durian Jam

“I have to say I’m not a huge fan of durians, but still I find this sweet, gooey coconut rice cake dessert very appealing nonetheless. Perhaps I can just omit the durian jam part?” — Angie

Angie, you can make Biko without durian. Not all Filipinos like Durian, too. I don’t even eat the fruit!😂 Happy 2025 & wish you all the best!! And oh, thanks for featuring my Biko!😘
