Hey, it’s Friday the 13th, everyone! I didn’t realize it until I started typing this. But seriously, it’s just another day, right?
Until you see a black cat, that is. Then it’s a whole different story. Black Cats and Friday the 13th shouldn’t mix!
Anyway, it IS just another day for me. Which means it’s another soup day. It’s been soup week here at the house. Because… everyone is still recovering from a cold & cough. Thankfully it’s not that other C infection.
The first week of school almost always ends with me catching a cold. Then, I usually end up spreading it to my family. Sorry, family… 😩
I’ve been making them soup to make up for it. Today’s Soup du jour is this Ginger Turmeric Matzah Ball Soup.
Not your usual Matzah Ball Soup but it did the trick in soothing raw throats from coughing too much.
