Now that we’ve been home for a little more than a week, things are starting to normalize albeit I’ve now become an early bird as opposed to the night owl that I used to be.
That is one consequence of jetlag that I’m happy to embrace. It’s true what they say… The early bird gets the worm…
I definitely can accomplish a lot more by waking up in the wee hours of the day. Just look at what I was able to serve by lunchtime yesterday.
Shut the front door, am I right?! Is this a restaurant or what?!
Trying to recreate some of the memorable meals from our recent Asian trip, I served several dishes in small bowls on a tray/platter.
Like this Nasi Campur (”Mixed Rice”) we had in Bali.
Had I not woken up so early, this meal would have been most likely slated for dinner, not lunch.
We shall see how long I can sustain this habit of waking up early 😂

Thanks so much for hosting us and sharing our easy no bake dog treats. I appreciate the love. The Asian inspired lunch looks amazing! And you’re so right, the early bird gets so much done in those early hours. I’m a night owl by nature but when I rise early, I crank out so much and I always tell myself I should do it more often…but we know. 🙂 Have a great weekend. XO- MaryJo
