Fiesta Friday #549

Our whirlwind summer vacation has officially ended. We’re back home now, struggling to fight jet lag, sleeping and waking at odd hours.

Right now, I’m trying to stay awake with the help of caffeine, which reminds me that the coffee I had during our trip was so much better in quality and taste.

Why do food and drinks consumed during vacations always taste better? Do any of you relate to this phenomenon?

Anyway, our last stop was Tokyo, Japan. 4 days in Tokyo was definitely not long enough to sample all that the ultra-modern city has to offer. Still, we managed to do quite a lot thanks to our kids who seemed to know how to navigate around Tokyo despite never being there.

Here are a few pictures of some of the food that we ate and places we visited.

As always great features, but those photos of food and places you visited are great! You will eventually get caught up on sleep, and have great memories to fall back on.

Who’s ready for Cinco de Mayo?! I am! 🙋🏻‍♀️ May I suggest celebrating it with this Pineapple Margarita Chicken Quesadilla? You gotta make that Pineapple Margarita first, though. Coz that’s the marinade for the chicken! As if I need to twist any arms. 🤣 The more margarita, the merrier, says people everywhere. 🍸🥳 Link in bio!
