Grilling season is upon us, and I was going to kick it off in the best way possible. With some grilled corn, of course.
I went a little crazy and bought a couple of dozen ears of corn. Hey, they’re plentiful and cheap around this time! I figured if I grill half a dozen every day for the 4-day Memorial Day weekend, I would need two dozen total. I’m so smart!
Then the husband reminded me that we’d be going away for the weekend. Omigosh! I’m not so smart after all. The grilled corn plan will have to wait, darn! Oh, well…
What about you, Fiesta Friends? Any plans for the long weekend?

“Delicious and beautiful pattern in every bite!” — Jhuls
“This is a novel, and I should add adorable, way for presenting meatloaf, a dish arguably difficult to serve in an attractive way.” — Angie
“For those who don’t grow their own tomatoes and therefore, find it hard to procure green tomatoes, this is a great alternative since red tomatoes are easy to source.” — Angie
“This will be on my menu next week. Easy to make, yet so satisfying.” — Jhuls

Much appreciated.
