Oh my goodness, time is flying, you guys! It’s mere days before Christmas. 17 days to be exact, and that’s hardly any time at all.
I’m not even done with my decorations; I’m still ordering stuff online! The front door needs “fresh” decorations. Not fresh like live greenery, but fresh like new, that’s what I mean. The old stuff is getting boring.
I’m envisioning something more like this garland that I put up in my living room.
Isn’t it nice? Please say yes. My husband thinks it’s borderline hideous. He prefers simple, natural decorations. I used to myself but lately I’m into all things flocked. Too ostentatious for his taste. Who cares, lol.
I only found one garland at the store so I’m ordering two more. They go well with the tree, which still waits for more ornaments and a tree topper. They’ve all been ordered but who knows when they’ll arrive.
And of course, I’m still planning to go to Ikea this weekend. They have some cute Christmas lights!
I move that Christmas be extended for another month. Do I have your votes?
Now let’s drool over these!
“This is such a fabulous idea, and looks easy enough for me to attempt. Easier than the croquembouche that I always try to make every year, and fail each time.” — Angie
“Gosh, how beautiful are these cookies! I’ve never even heard of them. Thanks, Jess, for bringing them to my attention!” — Angie
“I need a recipe like this for starters during Christmas, quick to prepare and economical as well.” — Pauline
“This looks delicious! Sweet and sour is my favorite Chinese takeout, so no doubt I’ll enjoy this.” — Angie
