Fiesta Friday #252

Shopping is exhausting! And takes up so much of your time, I might add. Time you could spend doing other things. More important things.

Like sleeping, for instance.

That’s what’s been lacking in my life. Sleeping time. Especially this past week. First I had to go through Black Friday and Cyber Monday, which turned out to be Cyber Week, before I could sleep, or do anything else.

Now that it’s all over, I’m hoping I can be more productive in the coming weeks, like baking some cookies for Santa, for instance.

But first, I need some sleep ? ? ?

From last week’s fiesta:

No-Bake Eggnog Gingersnap Cheesecake Cake from Jas @ All that’s Jas

“Easy, No-Bake, and such an incredible showstopper of a dessert! Jas has done it again with her No-Bake Eggnog Gingersnap Cheesecake. It’s on my Christmas dessert list!” — Mollie

“It’s going on my Christmas dessert list, too! In fact, it’ll be the edible centerpiece of my Christmas table! There’s no need for flower arrangements when you have this beauty!” — Angie

Mole de Olla from Irene @ My Slice of Mexico

“Irene has truly inspired me with Mole de Olla – the beef soup has tons of flavor and little baby dumplings called chochoyones. I am all over this an can’t wait to make it!” — Mollie

Mole de Olla is not only a delicious sounding dish, hearty and comforting, perfect for the colder days ahead, there is a history behind it, too! A fascinating read!” — Monika

Vegetable Hummingbird Stir-Fry from Priya @ The World Through My Eyes

“This exotic dish really grabbed my attention. I’d love to be able to taste vegetable hummingbird flowers, which sound very interesting and super delicious!” — Monika

Bell Pepper Fajita Chicken Salad from Jessa @ Low Carb Delish

“I love everything about this lo-carb Fajita Salad. Now I just need a tutorial on making an avocado rose!” — Mollie

Hope you had a wonderful Thanksgiving Angie. I am still recovering from the sugar pig-out. I am happy to co-host, just let me know when you need someone.

Same here, there’s been so much eating going on lately. I shouldn’t be complaining, but I really am ready for a big bowl of kale salad ? Thanks for volunteering to help with the cohosting. How does Dec 28 sound?

All the sales posed a dilemma for me, Lathi. I’d feel guilty if I didn’t take advantage so I usually do, but when I do I tend to overshop then I’d feel guilty about that ?

Thank you Angie, Mollie and Monika for featuring my Mole de Olla, and for your kind reviews!

And I could not help but notice the themed co-host schedule: The J-Crew, M&M, and this week “from A to Z” 🙂

    Have a great weekend!

You’re welcome, it’s an intriguing recipe to say the least, and it sounds delicious, too! Isn’t it wonderful that Fiesta Friday can neatly fall into its own theme even with the cohosts’ initials ?

I am glad I wasn’t the only one who got carried away online shopping. The UK has fully embraced Black Friday with some amazing sales and I did what you did.
Great features and am glad I made it, no week is ever the same without Fiesta Friday! x

It’s kinda fun now that I’ve been getting shipments daily, lol. The prices were truly incredible, though, right?! I even almost bought another camera because it was such a great sale. Maybe next year… Great to see you at the fiesta, Petra! We haven’t seen much of you lately. I guess everybody is busy ?

Tell me about it! There are just too many selections, am I right? Of course we’d be complaining if there wasn’t much of a choice, either ? Thanks for coming to the fiesta!
