Has Mother Nature gone completely insane or what?! It’s now less than two weeks away from spring and we just had a good deal of snow dumped on us. It’s at least 6 inches in my estimation.
Enough to get our schools closed or dismissed early. Which, all in all, is not a bad thing for me, someone in desperate need of extra time in the day to get things done.
With my workplace sending the staff home early and my daughter’s evening activities cancelled, I had time to bake these muffins.
If the weather continues to be this crazy, then maybe there’ll be more school closings, and then maybe I’ll have time to write the recipe and post it.
Considering all that, maybe I shouldn’t be too hard on Mother Nature. Maybe I should thank her, instead.

I’m so jealous of your snow…we’ve been cheated here this year in Virginia!
What, you want snow?! You sure about that? My daffodils were starting to come up- it was nice seeing bits of green after months of brown, but now everything is white, with flecks of dirt ?
Those muffins look gorgeous 🙂 You are right, beginning March and we had tons of snow here in Denmark too. Though I love snow, cleaning it is hell. We are eagerly waiting for the sun to shine now. Hoping for a sunny weekend. Enjoy Angie!
Thanks, Trupti! Luckily it’s starting to melt here, but there’s more snow predicted next week! I’m so anxious to go out there in my garden, it’s the best cure for my cabin fever.
Its going to rain whole next week here so definately the snow shall be gone.
Good riddance to that! ?
The weather here in Paraguay it’s been gorgeous. Winter in coming. But no snow.
That blueberry cheesecake has my name on it ?
Lucky you! Does it normally snow there? Or is it more tropical? I’m embarrassed to admit I haven’t learned much about Paraguay. That’s why we need you in our fiestas! ?
Crazy weather, right? The features look yummy this week, and I adore those edible spoons! I hope you have a fantastic weekend! 😀
It’s the longest winter! Those spoons are too cute and such a clever idea! You have a great weekend, too! Thanks for cohosting! ??
Thank you! I’m always happy to co-host! 😀
??
It felt like spring a few days ago here in Ontario, but winter is back with snow and cold temps. The weather has been so all over the place the last couple of years. I think we just have to expect the unexpected with Mother Nature. But at least it gives you time to bake muffins!
And there’s another snowstorm predicted next week for us! I hope they’re wrong! I need to get to my garden so bad. But yes, at least with nowhere to go I had time to bake muffins. That’s a plus, I suppose ?
20 inches of the white fluffy stuff here. Free to a good home… And we’re supposed to get scattered bits again today. Can’t win… Guess I should go cook some more???
That’s about the only good thing about being stuck indoors, more cooking time ? And also catching up on Netflix ?
Ugh I agree! I’m just ready for Spring! Those muffins are beautiful, though! Happy FF 😀
I’ve been ready since after Christmas, lol. Thanks about the muffins! Btw, haven’t received confirmation from Judi yet regarding FF215 Mar 16. I think it’s more likely that she can’t do it, so if you don’t mind please be prepared to cohost that week, with Laurena. Thanks so much, Alex! ?
Sounds good!
It’s confirmed then, you and Laurena for the 16th. Thank you! ?
Great, looking forward to it!
Sorry to hear about all the snow you’ve been having, as much as I like snow I am really looking forward to the spring and wouldn’t want any snow now either. Hope it melts soon over there! Enjoy your weekend:)
It’s started to melt but not fast enough for me. I’m itching to go pottering around in the garden. Somehow my body knows it’s time ?
The cheesecake and the muffins look so inviting! Those edible spoons are so cool! 🙂
Thanks, Abbey! As you can see, we do come across many great ideas at the fiesta. Thanks so much for cohosting. I hope you’re having fun!
Im having a blast so far!
That’s so great to hear!!
hi Angie
Almost all of the UK had snow but us. There wasn’t even enough for a small snowball fight! Love the muffins!
Thank you so much for the feature!
I hope the snow melts soon and spring will arrive! x
That’s very lucky, don’t you think? Unless you like snow ? Youre welcome about the feature. Your Malfatti was quite a favorite of many!
hi Angie
I have to admit the UK is not built for snow, it becomes truly dysfunctional and I prefer it snow free ha ha
Am glad the Malfatti was interesting, I love to find dishes I have never cooked before! 🙂 x
Angie there is so much snow here! The last two weeks we had like three blizzards. It seemed like every other day. But the last few days have been sunny, so that helps. But there might be snow tomorrow. Ugggh!!
Love those spoons! That is such a clever idea.
I’ve had enough seriously! It’s the longest winter ever! Oh, the spoons!! Never seen anything so adorable!! So, if you can and are willing to cohost, let me know. Anytime! We need your help!
Muffins looks amazing..weather is indeed going crazy.
Thanks, Lathi! Yes, it’s quite possible Mother Nature has gone bonkers. Isn’t she really old?! ?
Lovely muffins Angie and pleased to see Petra’s recipe featured – that certainly caught my eye last week!
Thanks, Laura! And yes, mine, too. It’s always impressive how Petra can turn any ingredients, sometimes surprise ones (wild garlic, no less) into a masterpiece.
Thank you for the feature of my kefir cheesecake, Angie! Truly appreciate your kindness. Have a great weekend!
Love that beautiful cheesecake, Jas! No-bake, no less ?
?
The muffins look fantastic, Angie! I have to say thanks to Mother Nature for giving you time to make these.? Happy FF, Angie!
Thanks, Jhuls! But I also want Mother Nature to give me more sun and warmth so I can open my garden ? Happy FF to you, too, Jhuls, and a great weekend as well ?
What an amazing encyclopedia of recipes! It’s my first time here and I’m blown away by the support for this linky, thank you for having me

Those blueberry muffins look so good!
Thanks so much! You’re too kind ?
Your muffins are gorgeous Angie! What a wonderful way to spend a snow day. I hope spring is on the way for you soon.
Now, if I could only get it together to post something…
Thanks, Liz! Sometimes I actually enjoy being stuck at home with nowhere to go, feels cozy, as long as there’s heat and food ? I have so many drafts I haven’t finished myself! There’s always something else!
