What a blast I had in Scotland! Even though I’m not usually into sightseeing – I travel mainly for food, flora, and fauna – challenging myself to find Outlander filming locations motivated me to explore and discover these landmarks.
For Outlander fans out there, see if you can recognize these spots.

I also managed to check a couple of food bucket list items off my list.
In Edinburgh, I tried both haggis and Cullen skink.

I’m not sure if I’ll ever make haggis at home, but Cullen skink is doable and my husband loved it.
This afternoon, we’re heading back to London to prepare for our flight home tomorrow. We love the city but after a lot of walking and sightseeing, my husband and I are planning for a low-key night.
We will probably have an early dinner at the hotel and that’s pretty much it. I do need to go back to work on Monday, sad…

I LOVE Edinburgh! Was the Haggis from the Arcade Haggis & Whisky House? It looks very familiar xx
It was from the Royal Mile Tavern but now that you’ve mentioned the other place, I will try to go there next time I’m in Edinburgh XO
