My “homemade penicillin” soups are back.


Both are heavily spiked with ginger and turmeric to boost immunity. I’ve been trying to shake this stubborn congestion and scratchy throat.
Fewer people are getting vaccinated against respiratory illnesses; is that the reason for the surge in cold and flu cases? It doesn’t help that we’ve been indoor-bound due to the snow and cold temperatures. Punxsutawney Phil seems to think winter is here to stay for a while, bummer!
I should be up and about soon enough. The hot soup and plenty of rest should do the trick. I wish you all, wherever you are, a healthy week with excellent weather!
